More Homophobia from Joe the Plumber

Joe the Plumber is back today. In an interview with Toledo, Ohio’s ABC 13, Joe the Plumber said that the sight of men kissing each other throws him off. Joe also bemoaned the fact that his book didn’t sell well, and said that he believes that he can stretch out his 15 minutes of fame for one more year.

Here are his comments about gays:

Joe said, “It’s just not a lifestyle I want around me personally. For the obvious reason it seems a little strange and unusual to me. I obvious don’t want my son seeing men kissing each other. It throws me off. It’s not a big deal, let me rephrase that, it’s not something that I want around my family.”

Here is the full interview:

Joe claims that he makes less than $250,000 a year, but he still is opposed to Obama’s tax plan. He also blasted the Republican Party, “Everyone wants to paint me as a big Republican mouthpiece. The Republican Party is dead as far as I am concerned.” Joe the non-plumber gets paid, $3,000 an appearance, which makes me wonder who would pay thousands of dollars to listen to this man talk about anything?

By the way, did you notice that Joe’s comments about gays got cut out of the interview? Talk about media bias. Only a hometown local news station, or Fox News would bury, anything that made the subject of the interview look bad on an outtake reel and post it on their website. Sam/Joe needs to go away. Your 15 minutes were up long ago. If he keeps bashing the GOP, even the Republicans won’t hire him anymore, and he will finally be gone.
