Glenn Beck Tries to Scare Whites by Labeling Obama a Racist

Last updated on August 10th, 2014 at 05:12 pm

Glenn Beck showed up on FNC’s Fox and Friends today to declare that President Barack Obama is a guy who has exposed himself as a guy who has a deep seated hatred for white people and white culture. Beck said, “I am not saying he doesn’t like white people…I believe this guy is a racist.” In the end, this is just more race based politics from Beck, FNC, and the GOP.

Here is the video courtesy of Media Matters:

Beck was outraged that the parties in the Skip Gates incident are having a beer at the White House, “That is unbelievable for a teaching lesson or some sort of a who needs to learn what here? This president I think has exposed himself as a guy over and over again who has a deep seated hatred for white people or the white culture. I don’t know what it is, but you can’t sit in a pew with Jeremiah Wright for 20 years, and not hear some of that stuff and not have it wash over. What kind of President of the United States immediately jumps on the police, just like what kind of president would ever say he’s black of course he is breaking into the house. You’d never do that. He wanted to address this, and now they are going to go have a beer? That’s obscene.”

He said he believes that Obama is a racist, “I am not saying that he doesn’t like white people. I’m saying that he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist. Look at the things he has been surrounded by.” Let’s look at the people Obama has been surrounded by, a white mother, white grandparents, white students in the classroom, and Ivy League education. As you can see Obama’s background just reeks of racial hate.

I love it when crazies like Beck and Limbaugh label Obama a racist while ignoring that he is half white. Obama’s upbringing and background makes it very difficult to make the racist claim about the president. This is just another attempt by righties to scare white people away from Obama. They are trying to divide America along racial lines.

What Beck is really saying is look at that scary black man in the White House. He doesn’t like you, so you better come home to the GOP. This is just another example of the kind of deplorable racial politics that the Republicans are using. The problem for people like Beck is that Obama isn’t what they portray him to be. Republicans need to learn that they will be successful against Obama using ideas, not old race based political strategies.
