Palin Strikes Preemptive Blow at 19 Year Old

The National Enquirer is reporting that they’ve gotten a peek at Palin’s ghost-written (by a partisan who pals around with white supremacists) “book”:

“”Sarah got a ton of dough from her advance, but the book appears to be nothing more than a self-serving press release touting what she calls her ‘happy marriage.’

“It’s also a renewed attack on Levi Johnston, 19, calling him ‘a liar’ once again for all the claims he’s made against her after breaking up with Bristol and for saying he’s going to battle for custody of baby Tripp.””

Levi! The poor 19 year old kid who once allowed Palin to force him to attend the RNC dressed up like a doll, just because he got her daughter pregnant. Which kinda sorta happens when you’re living together and you are practicing “abstinence only”, but I digress.

Even though Sarah Palin doesn’t know what the Bush Doctrine is, I’d say her recent book (based on the NE early review, and the odds are 50-50 that they reported this accurately — let’s not forget who broke the John Edwards scandal ) finally reveals the answer to Charlie Gibsons’s long-ago asked question of Palin, during that infamous epic failure of an interview: “Do you believe in the Bush Doctrine?”

No, not his world view, Sarah….

The Bush Doctrine:

“The Bush Doctrine is a phrase used to describe various related foreign policy principles of former United States president George W. Bush. The phrase initially described the policy that the United States had the right to secure itself from countries that harbor or give aid to terrorist groups, which was used to justify the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan.[1]

Later it came to include additional elements, including the controversial policy of preventive war, which held that the United States should depose foreign regimes that represented a potential or perceived threat to the security of the United States, even if that threat was not immediate; a policy of spreading democracy around the world, especially in the Middle East, as a strategy for combating terrorism; and a willingness to pursue U.S. military interests in a unilateral way.[2][3][4] Some of these policies were codified in a National Security Council text entitled the National Security Strategy of the United States published on September 20, 2002.[5]”

It’s those later, controversial elements which Palin seems to have embraced warmly and without question. The notion of attacking pre-emptively is pure Palin. And while an adult with great political power and celebrity using their office and now celebrity status to attack a child or mere citizen might cause a normal person to hesitate, in Palin’s world view, it’s her right to attack anyone she pleases and use all of her power to do so.

That was, in fact, the allegation that the independent body found Palin guilty of in Troopergate, where she brought her vast powers as governor down upon a trooper who wouldn’t carry out a family vendetta against her ex-brother-in-law — a man she had already been warned by a judge to stop harassing. Attacking and harassing to get her way is old hat to Sister Sarah!

Who can forget Palin taking weeks to drag out her “Leave the children out of this!” attack on David Letterman, right before she tried to get him fired for making a joke? See, it’s OK for her to attack Levi, but it’s not OK for anyone else to attack her daughter. Yes, they are the same age, but is Levi the spawn of the Anointed? No!

Why so touchy, Sarah? Does Levi have more to tell than the gossipy stories he shared with Vanity Fair about Palin’s laziness and inability to shoot? Even more to tell than the stories about how she and Todd don’t sleep together? Or how she wanted to adopt their baby….

Stop! See, now we’re getting to the delicate area where a pre-emptive strike becomes a necessary maneuver. In fact, Palin could use some shock and awe to distract the nation from what Levi seems poised to tell us all.

Because Palin has yet to explain why she got on a long plane ride back to Alaska from Texas hours after leaking amniotic fluid before she gave her speech. She was, after all, five weeks early and knew that she was carrying a baby with Downs Syndrome, so the high incidence of congenital heart problems among Down’s babies made immediate treatment medically necessary for her baby’s health.

Now, why would any one do that?

And why would anyone find it odd that the public wants to know why a person would do that, when that person is running for Vice President of the most powerful country in the world?

And yet, she will only say that we don’t know the special circumstances of her birth.

I’m sure we don’t…but does Levi know? Perhaps this explains why Sarah is so angry at Levi that she is using her book to bring him down instead of building herself up?

For some reason, Levi and his bodyguard have been hinting around this issue for a while, so they must have something to say. And someone doesn’t want us to believe him when he tell us.

It’s odd that Republicans and the main stream media have shied away from this issue, since it’s Republicans who have long made the “origin” of babies and now Presidents the Issue Du Jour. I’m sure John McCain can add a bit to this story, about how the origins of one of his children was used in a smear campaign against him by his own party. And then there are the birthers, who insist that Obama’s origins are not acceptable tot hem, even after the Republican Hawaiian state official personally viewed the original birth certificate and verified it as real. All of these questions can be asked and are asked by the Republicans themselves…

And yet on an issue which so clearly impacts an unborn child’s welfare, and the mother of that unborn child is their candidate for VP, they are oddly silent.

Do we have to put on a flag pin and slap a drill baby drill bumper sticker on our cars before our moral outrage is real? How dare the Republican party behave as if this is none of our business. This is our country and you better believe it’s our business when the post-Bush disaster Republicans run some puppet with no judgment as VP, and now discuss her as a Presidential candidate! Questions will be asked.

And when the answers are given, I’m going to give Levi the benefit of the doubt, since he hasn’t lied to us yet while Sarah has lied repeatedly, in fact, so consistently that it would be odd were she to tell the unvarnished truth.

Palin’s not going rogue, she’s goin’ all Bush Doctriny on us. And didn’t you just know that she would?

“We’re all Levi now”. Yup, you betcha.
