Rush Limbaugh Sent Reeling After 3 More Advertisers Dump His Show

Rush Limbaugh responded to losing advertisers The Gap, SarahCare, and Sam’s Club by doing the exact thing that is causing the advertisers to leave. He continues to attack women.

All total, four advertisers have confirmed this week that their ads will not be running on Rush Limbaugh’s program. Ebay, the fourth advertiser contacted PoliticusUSA to claim that they never bought ads on Limbaugh’s show, but their ads were placed there. My response to eBay was that if you didn’t want to advertise on Limbaugh why didn’t you request that your ads not be aired on his program.

One company who was willing to speak about their decision to dump Limbaugh was SarahCare, “Thank you for your concerns, we have decided that Rush Limbaugh’s comments do not reflect SarahCare’s values and have suspended advertising.”

If you thought that an advertiser boycott that has cost him millions of dollars would teach him anything, you were wrong. Limbaugh has responded to latest wave of advertiser departures with another attack on women.

LIMBAUGH: Okay, folks, a little warning. I’m not familiar with this website, MyBankTracker.com. There are so many websites out there, but our show prep knows no boundaries. This outfit is talking about a University of Colorado Denver study. So that’s probably actually the source. The website is MyBankTracker.com. “Some women may be deemed ‘too hot to hire’ in more masculine workplaces, according to a University of Colorado-Denver study.

“Attractive women are overlooked for certain jobs, including ‘manager of research and development, director of finance, mechanical engineer and construction supervisor.’ The news service also pointed out other traditionally masculine job categories that were found to discriminate against good-looking women: ‘They were also overlooked for categories like director of security, hardware salesperson, prison guard and tow-truck driver.’ The study was published in the Journal of Social Psychology.”

Now, folks, this is fabulous news for the feminazis. This is what they’ve been dreaming of. One of primary reasons of feminism… Undeniable Truth of Life Number 24, written by me. “Feminism was established so as to permit unattractive women easier access to the mainstream.” Pure and simple. And so here now a story out of the University of Colorado at Denver: Some women are deemed too attractive to hire. Right up their ally.

The thing is, this is discrimination, and it’s serious. It is serious. There are women who complain about the fact that they’re too attractive. Well, they don’t complain about that. They say it’s a problem in being hired. “The researchers had a stack of 55 photos of male candidates and 55 photos of female candidates that they handed out to participants. Each participant was given a list of jobs and asked to sort the previously mentioned photos according to suitability for certain positions.

“Researchers found that women who were attractive were ruled out for certain jobs, while men who were attractive were always at an advantage. ‘In every other kind of job, attractive women were preferred,’ said researcher Stefanie Johnson. ‘This wasn’t the case with men which shows that there is still a double standard when it comes to gender.’” Unattractive women were preferred. Who would have ever thought they’d see something like that?

It’s just another sign, another sign, folks.

It is getting close to the point where soon Rush Limbaugh isn’t going to have any advertisers left at all. One of the great ironies of this boycott has been the fact that since Limbaugh can no longer sell all of his ad space he has been reduced to airing unpaid government sponsored public service announcements to fill his ad space.

No matter how many advertisers leave Rush Limbaugh keeps doubling down, but with the latest losses he is down to 24 national sponsors. The most well known of what’s left are Lifelock and Angie’s List. The Fortune 500 companies are gone, and they aren’t coming back. Since Limbaugh owns his program, the odds of the boycott taking him off the air are slim to none, but the talker has had to pay dearly for his remarks about Sandra Fluke.

The advertiser boycott is rolling on, and Rush continues to lose money as corporate America is learning that there is heavy price to be paid for supporting Rush Limbaugh with their ad dollars.

The king of right wing talk radio is reeling as a group of boycotters will not give up until the stop Rush.
