Sarah Palin has taken to Facebook to complain that Fox News has canceled all of her scheduled interviews during their coverage of the Republican Convention.
Palin took to her Facebook bunker to tell the world what nobody cared enough to notice, “I’m sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain’s positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight. Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain. Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend.”
Fox News VP of Programming Bill Shine gave Palin the big blow off, “Our plans changed based on the fact that the RNC condensed the schedule of speeches from four nights to three. We look forward to having Governor Palin back as soon as we can.”
By as soon as he can, he means Sarah Palin won’t see any airtime until after the Republican Convention. Sarah Palin is now officially unwelcome in the Republican Party, and I’ll give you three guesses who got her booted off of Fox News.
Here’s a hint. His name rhymes with Ditt Lomney. When the Romney people made sure that Sarah Palin wasn’t invited to the Republicans’ party, the message was clearly sent that Romney blames Palin for the Republican defeat in 2008. They see the polls. The Romney folks know that she is toxic to the very women and Independent voters that they are unsuccessfully trying to court.
Sarah Palin isn’t the only reason that John McCain lost in 2008, but you can be sure that she will be banished to Republican Siberia if Romney wins in November. Palin better hope that Obama gets reelected because if he doesn’t it is easy to see Romney pushing her into total obscurity.
The joke of it all is that Romney is much less popular than Palin was at the same time in 2008 campaign. Romney has replaced Palin as America’s least liked politician. Romney’s disastrous trip to London drew comparisons to Sarah Palin, so it easy to see why the Republican nominee doesn’t want to remind voters of just how Palinesque he can be.
As for Palin herself, as you can see by her Facebook rant, she is still stuck in 2008. Palin can’t stop blaming the “liberal media” for her downfall. She has become a pathetic figure. In four years, she has morphed from candidate for the vice presidency to bitter Facebook troll.
Sarah Palin has sunk so low that she can’t even get airtime from the network that pays her during the Republican Convention.
Skid Row Sarah has truly hit rock bottom.

So the woman responsible for eliciting hate between the classes (you know, her ‘rill Americans’) versus the fake ones who support equality for all, freedom from government interference in our family planning, empathy for the poor and elderly, and stand up for public education? That woman? The one who riled up her hate crowds to yell “Kill Him!” about another American? And who paraded her children around like the props and moneymakers she still sees them as? It’s past time for Fox to dump her bony butt into Lake Lucille. What would be really great is if when she and the clan show up for Bristol’s one week on DWTS, that the camera ignores her. Think she’ll get the message? Me neither.

Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Romney has always been a weak one saying…Anyone But Obama. Also, every chance she gets has been about rehashing the “felled” campaign of 2008 and painting herself and her family as victims. It’s gotten quite tiresome listening to her shrill screech of hate and blaming everything on the President and the so called “liberal” media. She is like a pit bull, she just won’t let it go.

The fact that Mitt Romney didn’t want Sarah Palin to speak at the convention or comment on it shows that he and others are tone-deaf to the fact that their ideology stinks to high heaven. It doesn’t matter whether the salesperson of their snake oil is Palin, Huckabee, Ryan, or any other Republican. She is a big part of the reason McCain lost, but McCain also lost due to his own shortcomings. Even before he picked her, I saw instances where he showed forgetfulness, and he also did his share of pandering to baseness. In addition, he had a history of supporting GW’s disastrous policies, and he tried to run away from that fact. And her absence from the scene does nothing to alter the fact that Mitt Romney is a dangerously flawed excuse for a human being who has no business in the White House. He is owned by the most reactionary forces in this country, and he would willingly do their bidding.

Sister Sara is not going to lay down and play nice just because of Jolly Roger and his crew throwing her over-board; she’s going to “float” to shore and figure out something on her “little island” to keep her crazy-train going. Pretty sure that’s it — I guarantee, if a Democratic politician left office early, they’d no longer retain their title on Faux Noise.
Actually — I wonder. Only such politician I can think of recently stepping down was Gabbie Giffords, and that was due to her still recovering (but possibly never fully, though I’m still keeping her in my thoughts) from that attack. Palin stated this above on John McCain “an honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot.”
Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) though he never joined the military himself, disparaged his Democratic opponent’s military service at a town hall, saying that Tammy Duckworth is not a “true hero.”
T. Duckworth chose to become a helicopter pilot because few other combat roles are open to women. She has served for more than 20 years, earning the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and receiving multiple military awards, including a Purple Heart, an Air Medal, and an Army Commendation Medal.
Yet, because she has the audacity to mention her military service, in Walsh’s eyes she’s not a “true hero.”
I promise this, I will be voting the tea party freshman Walsh, out of office for a brave hero to our country- Tammy Duckworth.

You can keep trying to beat this dead horse with your push polling comments, but we all know the truth that Sarah Palin got the most votes than any known VP candidate in history. In other words, she gave McCain more chance, til he lost it suspending the campaign over the economic meltdown. And NBC’s recent poll showed EXACTLY that.
Romney so fears the real conservatives, he just SHOWED US, by CHANGING Convention rules, so he can choose the delegates in 2016 FOR HIM, shud he win this election.

Okay, here is a little tid bit of info that was passed to me a long time ago. I don’t know if it’s true, it may just be an urban legend, but I have no reason to doubt my source. When my child was in highschool she attended a debate camp for kids fromall over our state, which is Arkansas. One of the other attendees was the child of our then- governor, Mike Huckabee, and was known as quite a wild child. While playing poker one night, this child told those present that his/her sibling had attended a different camp and one night an injured dog made it’s way into the camp. As the animal was suffering, the Huckabee child offered to put it out of its misery. How did he/she do this? Hung the dog from a tree and beat the crap out of it with a large stick. Again, I DON’T KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was.

Heard an interesting version of this today that did not involve Romney. It was from Bill Press or someone on his program. To wit, Roger Alles was asked to get Sarah out of circulation after the 2008 campaign so she would not run in 2012. Offering the grifter lots of money and exposure was sure to work so that is what he did. Now she is no longer a danger and this person speculated that her absence from Fox will not be a temporary one.
Also, re the Huckabee story above. It is a matter of public record although I have never heard a version that attributed any degree of humanitarianism to it. I also think his son was not a young child – old enough to know better.

Meanwhile, RNC’s behind-the-scenes operatives giving the heave-ho to the Paul delegates and pushing hard for voter suppression laws that federal judges keep shooting down as unconstitutional make this seem ever less like an election and more like a corporate raider engaged in a hostile takeover of a target that will soon be discounted and sold off piece by piece.
What am I bid for the SSI funds? For “privatizing” Medicare? Any bids for taking the VA “private”? Mercenary corporations ready to take the whole dang Pentagon? Belly up to the bar, bidders! That may depend on the area. I’ve seen “Palin for President” bumper stickers on a fairly regular basis… maybe not as much as around 2008, but still usually I notice them every time I drive anywhere. I’ve also noticed “Palin for President” signs along the road in the last month… maybe I’ll get a picture of one if I remember (and have a camera handy). (The signs may have come down in the last week or so, as the “Romney-Ryan” signs are popping up everywhere.)
I’ll admit that it’s been a while since I heard someone at the gas station or store grumbling about “Palin was robbed”. For that I’m glad. Right after President Obama won, I thought the Second Civil War was going to start right here, from the rage that was expressed.
(LAUGH) I sometimes wonder if we’re stuck in some sort of horrible time warp here… because I read about how it’s like elsewhere and at times the more rural areas of this county (like where we live) don’t sound like most of the rest of the country. In fact, one of the local politicians made the news for publicly using the “n-word” in meetings, in a racist manner.
