It has to pain the republicans that more people watched the democratic convention than did the republican convention, that President Obama broke a political record on Twitter tonight, and that such a diverse group of people can get together, respect each other, and have a good time! One reason I am a democrat is because of our ability to look beyond the racial, religious, ethnic, socio-economic differences, the differences in sexual orientation, etc, and realize that we are a community of persons, and we’re all in this together.
