It’s Christmas Eve, what better time to share a little gingerbread delight? Here’s a time lapse of the creation of the gingerbread White House. While some of us (cough) just started baking cookies yesterday, the Pastry Chef Bill Yosses and his talented team “spent months planning, baking, building, and decorating the structure — which is made from more than 175 pounds of gingerbread and more than 50 pounds of chocolate.”
The 2012 holiday décor at the White House features a 300 pound representation of the President’s’ house made entirely from edible treats.
Watch here (mind the falling snow):
I hope that you and your family and friends are enjoying the holiday season as much as I am. Peace and Joy, Sarah
