Boehner Claims GOP Fought for Bipartisanship With Totally Partisan ObamaCare Hate

Boehner-Close

In case you were thinking that Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) found some integrity or a backbone after his failure to live up to Heritage Action’s orders, I am here to reassure you that all has not changed. Boehner is still spinning big lies and blaming Obama for his failures, or as he calls it, being “bipartisan”.

We get an oh so all American statement from the Speaker’s office about how the mean old President wouldn’t let Republicans ransom the country during what Boehner calls “bipartisan negotiations” (LOL) because all Republicans were trying to do is provide “fairness” for the American people by taking away their access to affordable health insurance. Of course that’s not partisan, I mean, no one wants health insurance. Amiright?

Boehner pats himself on the back for not getting in the way of the bipartisan Senate agreement (but does not mention that he already let the whiny, Constitutionally-impaired babies in his party shutdown the government, hurt millions of Americans, and was going to let them push us over the cliff of default):

“The House has fought with everything it has to convince the president of the United States to engage in bipartisan negotiations aimed at addressing our country’s debt and providing fairness for the American people under ObamaCare. That fight will continue. But blocking the bipartisan agreement reached today by the members of the Senate will not be a tactic for us.”

Good to know, eh? Right after they lit Rome on fire, no less.

Boehner’s statement continues explaining they had to give in to keep Democrats from raising taxes on everyone because Democrats were holding the country hostage er, no. Truth is, they had to surrender from the edge because Republicans were tanking in the polls and the American people were enraged with them.

“In addition to the risk of default, doing so would open the door for the Democratic majority in Washington to raise taxes again on the American people and undo the spending caps in the 2011 Budget Control Act without replacing them with better spending cuts. With our nation’s economy still struggling under years of the president’s policies, raising taxes is not a viable option.”

And here is where you can really see the “bipartisanship”, “Our drive to stop the train wreck that is the president’s health care law will continue. We will rely on aggressive oversight that highlights the law’s massive flaws and smart, targeted strikes that split the legislative coalition the president has relied upon to force his health care law on the American people.”

Bohener made sure to tweet his bipartisan efforts toward fairness too, “Our drive to stop the #trainwreck that is the president’s health care law will continue”.

Yes, pointing his finger out at everyone with a D after their name and calling a passed law a “trainwreck” just proves how bipartisanshippy John Boehner is, eh? Don’t you feel like a rousing chant of USA! USA! USA! Shut it down so my neighbor can’t get health insurance! WOO HOO!!!

According to Boehner, ObamaCare is the “trainswreck”, not Republicans shutting down the country over a law passed properly after much debate and vetted by SCOTUS. John Boehner couldn’t even deliver the votes, and wouldn’t even school his own caucus because he was too busy bending to the will of money groups. For his lack of courage, he blames Obama.

When you think John Boehner, you think bipartisan, if by bipartisan you mean destructive enabler of cracked out, delusional jihadists.
