George Zimmerman has been arrested and is now in police custody after being accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.
According to the Orlando Sentinel,
George Zimmerman has been arrested and was en route to the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.
It’s not clear what happened or what crime he’s accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested today and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.
He said more information would be available shortly.

Last week, Lake Mary, FL police closed the case related to Zimmerman threatening his wife and her father with a gun due to a lack of evidence that Zimmerman broke the law. After this incident, Sarah Jones prophetically observed, “Shellie and her dad aren’t pressing charges, and that’s a big mistake that I hope doesn’t come back to haunt them. Victims often think that because the perpetrator has so much to lose if they press charges, the perpetrator will be grateful and go away if they agree not to press charges. In fact, not pressing charges only eggs on the abuser, who feels entitled and invincible, as George Zimmerman already clearly feels.”
George Zimmerman does apparently feel invincible right now. Is it any surprise to anyone that a man who would shoot an unarmed 17 year old teenager would be involved in another domestic violence incident?
Zimmerman has been accused of domestic violence and molesting a female relative in the past. He was also arrested for two third degree felonies involving assaulting a police officer. Different domestic violence allegations by different women at different times are not a coincidence. Zimmerman has all the hallmarks of a predator and an abuser.
Right wing hero George Zimmerman is a sociopath, who appears to believe that he can do whatever he wants and get away with it. When the Trayvon Martin jury let Zimmerman walk, they didn’t just let a killer go free. They opened the door for Zimmerman to injure others.
