Republican Throws a Fit After Nancy Pelosi Gives Him a Dose Of His Own Obama Hating Medicine

Pelosi/Marino Fox

Poor Representative Tom Marino (R-PA) was really upset by Democratic House Leader Nancy Pelosi “wagging her finger” ala Republican Governor Jan Brewer’s finger wagging at Obama. Only, in the video clip Fox showed, Pelosi wasn’t anywhere near him when she pointed a finger, which then changed to an emphatic hand slice as she walked briskly to him. Nowhere near the Brewer wag.

We are to take Marino’s word for that Pelosi wagged later. In private. Which Fox doesn’t have on camera and is not what they used as b-roll to “prove” their point. Being wagged at in private is almost as humiliating as being wagged at while the cameras are all pointed at you during the open press of a presidential arrival, but not. Course, when Republicans do it to the President, it’s okay. But when Pelosi does it in Marino’s private memories, it’s the worst kind of intimidation and he will not stand for it!

Watch here:

Marino whined to Fox News that Pelosi was trying to “belittle him”.

You don’t say.

Marino also thought it was bad of her to voice her opinion because she is wealthy, so now being rich is not a sign that God loves you best and that you are more of a person than others, as Republicans usually claim, but rather a reason why Pelosi should be silent. The Supreme Court would clearly disagree, as money equals freedom of speech to the conservative court.

For her sin of having money, Marino expected Pelosi to not correct him even after “he accused Democrats of neglecting the immigration issue when they controlled the White House and Congress in 2009 and 2010.” In his defense, Marino was swept in with the Tea Party wave of 2010 and only took office in 2011. No one expects Tea Party Republicans to be correct about reality or able to do math.

Hang on for the Fox ride:

Speaking to Fox News on Monday, Marino offered additional details.

“She came up to me wagging her finger and saying that I was a liar, a liar, and I simply said, ‘No, I do my research — I have my facts straight, perhaps you should try that,'” he said.

Marino said Pelosi was trying to belittle him.

“I’m a former prosecutor … and I’ve been threatened by drug dealers and organized crime and murderers, and this was a walk in the park,” he said. “I’m not going to put up with this. I don’t talk to people like this.”

He added: “I’m having one of the wealthiest people in Congress say that I’m inconsequential and I’m not important.”

Maybe math would be helpful for Marino at some point. See, Democrats did not have a super majority those two years, and they needed it because Republicans were following Mitch McConnell’s orders to stamp their feet every time President Obama tried to help the country, so it was GOP filibuster-palooza time.

Also, Pelosi’s office pointed out that House Democrats did pass the DREAM Act. And what have Republicans done? LOL. Just kidding. We all know the answer to that.

Republicans love to wag their fingers at President Obama and lecture him, call him names, question his patriotism and his Christianity, and accuse him of being a terrorist lover set on destroying the country. This is part of their efforts at being “bi-partisan” and just making sure they “ask questions”. That’s when they aren’t asking for his birth certificate, like bewildered bullies on a playground they don’t understand. And yes, these are elected Republicans — not just fringers in the base, so let’s not play Both Sides Do It.

Republicans, however, do not seem to like it when the shoe is on the other foot. Marino clearly felt puffed up on Fox News about how he stood up to mean Nancy Pelosi, so intimidating, but he is so brave. SO BRAVE! So brave, Marino changed districts in 2012 to a redrawn district, where he is protected by Republicans rigging the system. So brave.
