In the midst of a “fair and balanced” debate, the Fox News anchor asked radio host Richard Fowler, “You didn’t feel overwhelmed? She mentioned a lot of issues in that speech. I could barely keep track.”
Fox News has fully embraced the stupid. When Hillary Clinton talks about more than one thing, their little minds can’t handle it, and they become overwhelmed. If Clinton had only discussed a few issues during her speech, Fox News would have jumped on her for not saying enough.
The part of the Republican was played by GOPAC Chair David Avella, who argued that Hillary Clinton isn’t progressive enough for Democratic voters. For good measure, Avella added that Hillary Clinton is a sexist because as a senator she paid the women on her staff less than the men.
Fox News has also responded to Clinton’s speech by criticizing her for not mentioning her mom enough.
The criticism being lobbed at Clinton by Fox is a perfect example of how the conservative network intentionally dumbs down the electorate. In Fox News land, intelligence and details are bad. Smart people shouldn’t be trusted because they are probably liberals.
Fox News can’t stop Hillary Clinton on the issues, so they are going to launch a stupidity offense against her. Fox has embraced the stupid because a smart voter is the Republican Party’s worst enemy.
