The Bernie Sanders’ campaign is planning to open a new larger New Hampshire headquarters in Manchester, as well as four additional regional field offices in Berlin, Keene, Nashua and Portsmouth, within the next month. Currently, the Sanders campaign has one field office located in Concord, but that will be converted to a regional office after the new more spacious headquarters is opened in Manchester.
The announcement that the campaign would be opening offices came shortly after a Franklin Pierce/Boston Herald Poll showed Sanders leapfrogging Hillary Clinton in the state, pulling ahead by a 44 to 37 percent margin. Kurt Ehrenberg, Sander’s New Hampshire coordinator told reporters:
We’re ramping up our campaign. We’re hiring new staff every day. We’re opening new offices. Things are going extremely well.

Ehrenberg was careful not to overstate the importance of one poll, , but he added:
It’s nice to see that Bernie’s catching on. It’s clear that the more people know Bernie and feel like they know what his issues are, what he stands for, how authentic he is, how genuine his message is, they really like him and want to vote for him as president.

Sanders is clearly riding a wave of momentum in the Granite State, and it makes sense for the campaign to expand as he continues to surge in the polls. Volunteer opportunities will be plentiful for Sanders supporters. By summer’s end, there will be at least half a dozen regional offices in the state, to accommodate Sander’s growing cadres of eager volunteers.
As the first primary state on the 2016 calendar to follow the Iowa caucuses, New Hampshire will be a crucial test of Senator Sanders’ viability as a Democratic candidate. If his campaign demonstrates that it can marshal the resources to deliver victory in New Hampshire, Sanders can mute critics who doubt his seriousness as a candidate. The Sander’s campaign is stepping up operations in New Hampshire big time, and there is no doubt they are playing to win.
