Trump Digs The Hole Deeper As He Justifies His Creepy Sexism By Blaming Hillary Clinton

Speaking in Hilton Head, South Carolina today, the Republican front-runner Donald Trump continued on with his juvenile refusal to take responsibility for his own actions and words.

Trump blamed Hillary Clinton for the fact that is a sexist creep, saying he had to attack her about her husband’s “situation” because she accused him of being sexist. In other words, he wanted to make sure everyone gets that Hillary Clinton was right when she called him a sexist, and also, he hasn’t the vaguest clue what sexism means and thus, like many Republicans, mistakenly conflates it with sex.

Washington Post political reporter Jenna Johnson is covering Donald Trump on the trail. These are a few of her tweets from Trump’s speech:

It takes a die hard sexist to think that not only does he get to define sexism, but it has something to do with sex. The fact that Trump doesn’t see women as human beings goes right over his head.

See, Donald Trump with his several wives and creepy references about his own daughter, he respects women. Sure you can’t tell when he’s speaking about us because he calls us things like “fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals” – but you know he does because he said so.

And yes, he won the first ever Lies of the Year award, but you really need to stop thinking and just start feeling :

Just to prove that he really gets women, he gets us girls!, Trump told us how we feel, which is totally a sign of respect:

Donald Trump didn’t do so well after he attacks Hillary Clinton in his junior high way, which involves sexism because that’s the sort of short-circuited thinking Trump has an all-access pass to at all times. Perhaps we should be clapping for him since he resisted blaming her period for his behavior, as he has done in the past with other powerful women.

So Trump pivoted to attacking her husband in order to diffuse his own sexism by pointing his finger at another man. That in and of itself is so sexist it’s hard to even pick up the first thread.

Suffice it to say that Hillary Clinton is not her husband, and she is not responsible for his cheating. And that happened a long time ago. If Trump has anything worthwhile to say against Hillary Clinton, he might want to find something from this past decade, and maybe something she actually did instead of blaming her for something her husband did, which is so old time sexist it almost makes me feel sorry for Donald Trump.

Since the media seems to be buying this false conflation, let’s define sexism once again, with a special red light special announcing that IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SEXY TIME.

Sexism: “prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex.”

See? Nothing in there about cheating on your spouse, which I have pointed out before is something both sexes do, and is not confined to one sex.

Huffington Post put together a list of things Trump has actually said about women, which can also be used in university as a teaching tool for how to spot sexism when it happens. One of the goodies is that he blamed Hillary Clinton for not keeping Bill Clinton satisfied sexually, and asked if she can’t satisfy Bill how can she satisfy the country. Another, Trump said: “You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of a$$.” And just in case your stomach isn’t roiling yet, “‘My favorite part [of ‘Pulp Fiction’] is when Sam has his gun out in the diner and he tells the guy to tell his girlfriend to shut up. Tell that b*tch to be cool. Say: ‘B*tch be cool.’ I love those lines.’ — TrumpNation: The Art of Being The Donald, 2005”.

Women are reduced by Trump to our ability to satisfy a man sexually. Which is pretty much sexism at its very worst.

Johnson also mentioned that Trump tried to talk about the Middle East a bit but the room got quiet so he told his supporters he’d “build a wall” and everyone cheered. A wall to the Middle East? Perhaps that’s Trump’s next item. His supporters wouldn’t care. Just give them simple sentences about hating the media and hating Hillary and they are good.

The polls are pretty irrelevant right now, but the Real Clear Politics poll shows Clinton ahead of Trump by 5 points. Being a hateful, out of touch bigot and sexist really pays off for a Republican.
