Donald Trump is trying to intimidate yet another person from speaking their truth about him. This one is his ghostwriter, Tony Schwartz, who said that if Trump got elected it would be the end of civilization. No wonder Trump wants to silence him.
MSNBC reported that Trump sent a cease and desist letter to Schwartz:

Trump is demanding that Schwartz return all of the royalties he’s received since the 1987 ‘Art of the Deal’ was published.
Speaking to Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, Schwartz said, “It’s nuts and completely indicative of who he is. There’s no basis in anything legal. I suspect that Donald Trump called up his chief legal person and said, ‘go after that guy and do whatever you have to do.’â€
Schwartz said he wrote every word of the book, and “If he (Trump) could lie about that, he could lie about anything.â€
Jane Mayer originally reported in New York Magazine on Schwartz’s deep regret for helping, he feels falsely, portray Trump as a successful businessman.
Donald Trump is trying to silence another person who is trying to warn the country, and indeed the world, that Donald Trump should not be anywhere near the White House.
Trump would be better served to pay attention to his epic debacle of a convention rather than searching out people to intimidate into shutting up about their experiences with him.
