Donald Trump is hoping to use his general election campaign to erase the memory of his inflammatory and outrageous rhetoric from primary season.
At the Democratic National Convention, Democrats are making sure he doesn’t get away with it by showing a series of videos titled, “Trump In His Own Words.”

The footage above examines Trump’s racist comments (and tweets) throughout his campaign, including his anti-semitic attack on Clinton and his refusal to disavow the KKK.

In the clip above, Trump says that “putting a wife to work is a very dangerous thing” and that it was “too early” to ask him about equal pay for equal work.
The Republican nominee has said a lot of damning things throughout his time in the public spotlight. In fact, he has probably spewed more offensive things in the past year than most people do in a lifetime – from insulting the disabled to calling our military “a disaster.”
Trump is hoping people forget all these things. At their convention, Democrats are saying, “Not a chance.”
