Donald Trump has attempted to create for himself the persona of a strong man, a manly man who by sheer force of will and (non-existent) character, can save America. But Bill Maher has shown rather that the opposite is the case. Trump can’t even save himself.
Maher called Trump’s latest gaffe “a category five shit storm,” and it is just the latest one for which Trump refuses to accept responsibility, preferring, like so much else, to blame it on Bill Clinton. The other day, misogyny, for Trump, was for entertainment purposes. Now it’s sexual assault.

“Looks like we dodged a bullet a little bit with [Hurricane Matthew], however with Donald Trump talking about women, it has been upgraded to a Category 5 Shitstorm.”
And it is just the latest, if possibly the worst. Maher complained that, “And every week I say this. ‘This is really happening.’”
Talking about the open mic incident with Today Show host Billy Bush, Maher opined, “They don’t know their mic is on. That’s one indication you’re a f*cking idiot.” Reciting Trump’s words for the audience, Maher exclaimed,
“‘Grab them by the p*ssy?’ Sounds like what Hillary did to Trump at the first debate.”
Moving on, Maher brought up the Sunday morning talk shows.
“I cannot wait until the Sunday morning talk shows, to see what the Trump surrogates are going to spin this into: ‘Look, George, people are tired of Washington politicians who won’t grab the voters by the p*ssy. Donald Trump and Mike Pence are making sexual assault great again.'”
It gets worse. The jokes are only limited by Trump’s willingness to keep saying appalling things.
“And this is a week where, only just a few days ago, Donald Trump out on the stump accused Hillary Clinton—with no evidence—of cheating on Bill,” Maher exclaimed in disbelief, because Trump was newly married when he made this comments.
This has been another very bad week for Donald Trump. As Maher then quipped, the only person Trump has been able to stay loyal to is Vladimir Putin.
“Donald Trump: the only person he’s ever been able to stay loyal to is Vladimir Putin. And what does Mike Pence [say], evangelical Catholic choirboy-Boy Scout-values person, a guy who said, ‘For thousands of years, marriage has served as the glue that holds families and societies together?’
“Mike: when Donald Trump hugs your wife, that’s not glue.”
Pence said nothing last night. He ran for his life. It’s not certain at this point he will ever admit Trump existed. He sure wasn’t willing to go there at the VP debate.
According to Maher, Bernie Madoff is in prison lamenting that he did not run for president. Mark Cuban agrees, tweeting,

“How is this election close?” Maher asks. His answer: “f*cking idiots.”
Donald Trump is an abuser and a bully. He is not strong; he is weak. He is not a man. A man takes responsibility for his actions and doesn’t blame everybody else for his character flaws. And Bill Maher has emasculated Trump as the sorry excuse for a man that he is.
