Hillary Clinton conceded the election with dignity and grace. She called for America to give Donald Trump a chance to govern and referred to him as our president.
Sen. Tim Kaine praised Clinton for winning the popular vote, and at times held back tears as he discussed the kind of person Hillary Clinton is and her commitment to women and children. Kaine quoted Faulkner and said, “They killed us, but they ain’t whupped us yet,” before introducing Hillary Clinton.
Clinton showed class by congratulating Trump and hoping that he is a successful president. She expressed pride in her campaign and said, “You represent the best in America, and being your candidate is the greatest honor of my life.”

Former Sec. Clinton admitted that the defeat was painful and it will be for a long time. She said that the nation is more divided than we thought.
Clinton said that Trump is going to be our president and we owe him the opportunity to lead. She said that Democrats respect and cherish freedoms like the rule of law and freedom of worship and Democrats will defend them.
Hillary Clinton did the right thing, as it was always expected that she would. She conceded her painful defeat with class and dignity. She vowed to fight on for what Democrats value. She thanked President and First Lady Obama and said that the nation owes them a debt of gratitude.
Clinton had a message for young people, “You will have successes and setbacks too. This loss hurts, but never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.” Clinton expressed hope that someone will shatter that highest and hardest glass ceiling. Clinton told little girls that they should never doubt that they are powerful enough to pursue their own dreams.
Former Sec. Clinton’s speech demonstrated why she would have made an honorable president, but too many people were blinded by fake scandals and media false equivalencies to understand that they may have allowed discouragement to cause them to miss an opportunity.
