Trump Is An International Laughing Stock After Referring To Imaginary Sweden Terror Attack

This is what happens when a president gets his news from Fox. President Donald Trump is being mocked all around the world after he referred to a terrorist attack in Sweden that never happened.

At his rally in Melbourne, Florida, Trump said, “Here’s the bottom line. We’ve got to keep our country safe. You look at what’s happening. We’ve got to keep our country safe. You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this. Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what’s happening in Brussels. You look at what’s happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris. We’ve allowed thousands and thousands of people into our country and there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing. So we’re going to keep our country safe.”

President Trump got his information on the terrorism in Sweden from watching Fox News.

Here is the segment on Tucker Carlson’s show from Friday night that became the problems in Sweden referred to by the President:

The Swedish press has responded by mocking Trump.

Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet went so far as to list everything that happened in Sweden on Friday night, in English, for Trump.

The problems in Sweden on Friday included:

– Due to harsh weather in the northern parts of Sweden the road E10 was closed between KatterjÃ¥kk and Riksgränsen. Due to strong winds and snow in the region the Met office also issued an avalanche warning.

– The famous singer Owe Thörnqvist had some technical problems during rehearsal for the singing competition â€Melodifestivalenâ€. (However, the 87 year old singer still managed to secure the victory the very next day.)

– Ok, let’s not be fake news, this story took place in the autumn, but was reported Friday before lunch and we thought you would like it. A wooden moose got the attention of a lovesick moose bull. It all happened in 79 year old Ove Lindqvist’s garden in Byske outside SkellefteÃ¥, northern Sweden. â€I thought it was going to start a fight, instead it humped the wooden moose thriceâ€, he said.

There was also a man who set himself on fire, and a drunk driving car thief. One of the biggest problems in Sweden involved the wooden moose humping incident.

Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt wants to know what Trump has been smoking:

Donald Trump is failing to make America great, but he has managed to turn the presidency into a laughingstock that is being mocked from as far away as Sweden.
