The Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare have completely backfired as the ACA (Obamacare) is now more popular than the entire GOP (Republican Party).

The only thing that Republicans have accomplished with their efforts to get rid of the ACA is making Obamacare even more popular. The more Republicans try to repeal Obamacare or vote on taking away health care from tens of millions, the more popular the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) becomes.
If Republicans keep trying to repeal Obamacare, they are going to vote themselves out of office. The years that they spent demonizing President Obama’s signature legislative achievement were for nothing. Sure it won Republicans control of the House before the law had taken effect, but since Obamacare was implemented, Republicans were fooling themselves if they believed that there was an appetite for repealing this law anywhere outside of the far right wing of their own party.
Trump is obsessed with getting a legislative achievement on the board, so he cut continues to cut bad deals that will only make the political problem worse for the Republican Party.
The fact that Trump keeps trying to get this bill passed is great news for Democrats because with each attempt he makes the president is bringing Democrats closer to taking back Congress in 2018.
