In her first public appearance since leaving the White House, former First Lady Michelle Obama flatly stated that she would not run for political office.
Here is the bad news for Obama supporters that want her to run:

Michelle Obama has been very clear for the last few years. She has absolutely no interest in running for office. I see Democrats often listing her name among the party’s potential candidates, but she is not running for anything.
First Lady Obama gave what was to me the best speech of the entire 2016 campaign. If she ever chose to run, she would be an outstanding candidate, but the truth is that she doesn’t want to be in politics anymore.
One gets the sense that after eight years of being in the White House along with the pressure of being the nation’s first African-American first family, that the Obamas are done with elective politics.
Michelle Obama isn’t running, so all of you hopefully Democrats can scratch her off of your 2020 dream list.
