As Russia Scandal Blows Up, Trump Tantrums And Threatens To Fire Nearly His Entire White House

Donald Trump is mad because he is failing as president, and he is considering firing his Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, chief strategist Steve Bannon, White House counsel Don McGahn and press secretary Sean Spicer. Trump is also angry at his own cabinet.

Axios reported
At the urging of longtime friends and outside advisers, most of whom he consults after dark, President Trump is considering a “huge reboot” that could take out everyone from Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon, to counsel Don McGahn and press secretary Sean Spicer, White House sources tell me.

Trump is also irritated with several Cabinet members, the sources said.

“He’s frustrated, and angry at everyone,” said one of the confidants.

Trump is also angry at his own cabinet because he thinks his cabinet secretaries are tooting their own horns too much and not praising him enough. Trump is mad at Jeff Sessions for stepping on son in law Jared Kushner’s toes on criminal justice reform. He blames HHS Secretary Tom Price for the slow pace of the health care bill, and Commerce Secretary Ross for taking victory laps.

The only thing dumber than firing the FBI Director who is investigating his campaign for potential treason would be for Trump to fire his senior White House staff, many of whom know things about the Trump campaign and Russia.

A good leader takes responsibility when things go wrong. A bad leader points fingers blames others and goes on a firing spree.

It is pretty easy to see what type of leader Trump is.

Firing his senior staff in the middle of the Russia investigation would be the worst decision imaginable, which is why it is probably so appealing to Trump.
