House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) announced that former FBI Director James would testify before his committee at 9:30 AM next Wednesday. Mark the date on your calendar because it could be the beginning of the end for Trump’s presidency.

The part about Comey having a new number is weird, but it might be because the Congressman accidentally sent a direct message as a tweet. If I were Comey, I’d probably get a new number too, but Chaffetz thought the world needed to know that part of the story is a bit of a mystery.
Should Comey testify next Wednesday, it will be must-see television. If the former FBI Director provides his memos to the committee before he testifies, the hearing could be the other shoe to drop on the Trump White House.
