This Can’t Be Good For Trump: Manafort And Stone Turn Over Docs To Senate Intel Committee

Former Trump associates Paul Manafort and Roger Stone have turned over documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee investigating the Russia scandal.

NBC News is reporting, “Two former associates of President Trump — Paul Manafort and Roger Stone — have turned over documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee in its Russia investigation, a congressional source with direct knowledge told NBC News.”

It is not surprising that Manafort and Stone would turn over the documents. Refusing to do so could land them in jail. Both Manafort and Stone are under investigation by the FBI, but they have expressed interest in cooperating with the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation.

The fact that Stone and Manafort have turned over their documents, while Mike Flynn has refused to cooperate makes Trump’s constant praise of Flynn look increasingly bad.

The Russia investigation is a complicated scandal with a lot of moving parts. The more information that the congressional committees get it will be easier to find the truth. It is apparent that the collusion with Russia happened before and during the general election campaign, and the cooperation of the two former Trump associates casts light on the Flynn/Trump relationship, and why Mike Flynn is so afraid to share with Congress what he knows.

The steady drip, drip, drip of Russia investigation information is slowly drowning Donald Trump.
