French President Macron filled the leadership void in the West that is being created by Trump with a statement to the American people in English that ended with the perfect trolling of the unpopular US president.

Macron said, “Tonight, I wish to tell the United States, France believes in you. The world believes in you. I know you are a great nation. I know your history, our common history.”
Macron called on all scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, responsible citizens who were disappointed by the decision of the President Of The United States to come to France and work with the French government on combatting climate change.
President Macron closed with the ultimate trolling of Trump, “I call on you to remain confident we will succeed because we are fully committed, because wherever we live, whoever we are, we all share the same responsibility. Make our planet great again.”
In case anyone needed proof that Trump has caused the US to longer be the leader of the free world, President Macron delivered it. Macron addressed the American people like they were prisoners of a deranged leader who are waiting for their time to rebel. We have seen past US presidents give similar remarks to populations that are battling repressive regimes and fighting for democracy.
By taking Trump’s campaign slogan and using it against him, Macron showed a high degree of political trolling skill.
Macron stepped up and filled the vacuum created by Donald Trump’s efforts to transform the world’s only superpower into a two-bit afterthought.
