Former House Republican Tears Into Paul Ryan For Trump Impeachment Hypocrisy

A House Republican who served on the Judiciary Committee that impeached Bill Clinton has torn into Speaker Paul Ryan for his impeachment hypocrisy on Donald Trump.

Former Rep. Bob Inglis tweeted:

Inglis was reacting to Ryan’s claim that he wouldn’t be looking into impeachment if a Democratic president was in the same position as Trump. Ryan said, “No. I don’t think we would, actually. I don’t think that’s at all the case.â€

Speaker Ryan was clearly lying. This is the same Republican Party that was itching for a reason to impeach President Obama. One could argue that Republicans would probably be drawing up impeachment articles against Hillary Clinton right now if she was president over her emails.

Former Rep. Inglis was correct. Bill Clinton was impeached for a whole lot less than what Trump is facing. Clinton had a consensual affair with an intern. He didn’t fire the FBI Director in an attempt to obstruct a federal investigation into his national security adviser who had close ties to Russia.

Paul Ryan had a lot of people fooled for a long time. Speaker Ryan was a never a principled person. He was always a partisan hack who was only interested in his own agenda. Ryan is willing to sell America to Putin in exchange for some tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires with a side of dismantling the social safety net.

Ryan’s enabling of Trump has gotten so disgusting that even members of his own party are calling him out.

The Russia scandal is not going to end well for anyone in Trump’s Republican Party.
