In an effort to bury the Russia story, Trump announced on the 4th of July that he would be meeting with Putin on Friday.
Reuters reported, “U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet on Friday afternoon, the White House confirmed on Tuesday. This first face-to-face meeting between the leaders will take place in Germany during the G20 summit.”
This White House is either absurdly tone-deaf, or they are intentionally trying to insult the American people.
While Donald Trump is under federal criminal investigation for obstruction of justice related to his firing of former FBI Director James Comey because Comey was leading the investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, the White House chooses to confirm to the American people that Trump will be meeting with his potential co-conspirator on the day when citizens are celebrating the nation’s birthday.

The reason why the White House confirmed this news today is that they are trying to dump it when the American people are distracted by the holiday and not paying attention to the news.
Trump has demonstrated time and again that he doesn’t care about the responsibilities of the presidency, and now he is flat out flaunting his Russia scandal by confirming this meeting on the 4th of July.
It is impossible for Trump to deny that he is a Putin puppet when he can’t get through the 4th of July without linking himself to Russia.
