Bremmer replied that Trump had no intention of ever disclosing that the meeting happened:

The question becomes what were Trump and Putin discussing for an hour? They were alone, with no one, but a Putin translator with them, so what were they talking about that is so secretive that the White House was trying to keep the American people from ever finding out? Trump met with Putin for nearly four hours at the G 20, and there is no public record or transcript of any of their conversations.
Donald Trump is either the dumbest or the most self-destructive person on the planet. Trump will never learn that there is nothing a president does will stay secret for very long.
IF Trump is innocent of the allegations that he colluded with Russia during the 2016 election, he shouldn’t be sneaking around holding private meetings with Putin.
