Republican Senator Runs Away From Reporters When Asked What’s In Obamacare Repeal Bill

Reporters tried to get a Republican Senator to tell them what is in the Obamacare repeal bill, but instead of answering their questions, he ran away.

MJ Lee of CNN tweeted:

Here is the documented exchange between Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) and reporters:

Wicker knows what is in the Obamacare repeal bill. He doesn’t want to tell reporters what is in the legislation because he doesn’t want you to know what the Republicans are trying to pass.

The best part of this exchange was Sen. Wicker during the favorite trick of all Senators who are fleeing from the press, the run for the elevator and hope to God the door opens before you have to answer a question.

Sure, um, I’ll tell you what’s in the bill. Oops, there’s my elevator. Gotta run.

Republicans are trying to take away health care from 16 million people, and they don’t know what’s in the bill. Reporters don’t know what’s in the bill, and the American people don’t know what is in the bill, and when a Republican Senator was asked what was in the bill, he ran away.
