Trump Tantrums And Blames Republicans For His Total Failure On Obamacare Repeal

Trump blamed Senate Republicans for failing to pass Obamacare repeal, but the failure began with a weak president who burned bridges with Senators in Maine and Alaska, and when push came to shove the man who thinks he is a dealmaker couldn’t get a majority of Senators from his own party to support a bill.

Trump tweeted:

The failure rests with Trump and Mitch McConnell. It was Trump who met with Republican Senators numerous times and proved to be completely useless. It was the Trump administration that threatened retaliation against the entire state of Alaska if Sen. Lisa Murkowski didn’t support the bill. It was Trump who could never sway Sen. Susan Collins of Maine. Leadership starts at the top, and Trump demonstrated that he is a worthless leader. It was Mitch McConnell who cooked up the scheme of a secret health care bill, but Trump supported it.

Mitch McConnell deserves blame for being an inept Majority Leader who tried to run the Senate like it is the House and ram a bill through without following the proper legislative process.

Donald Trump owns this failure. The drama on the Senate floor captured the Trump presidency in a nutshell. There is a lot of talk, bluster, and finger pointing, but virtually no action. When push comes to shove, Trump can’t deliver.

The President is tantruming and blaming others because he fails to see that he is terrible at being president.
