The White House is trying to spin the departure of Anthony Scaramucci as a decision to help Chief of Staff John Kelly, but what happened was Scaramucci refused to report to the Chief of Staff, and not Trump, so he was given the boot.

It is an easy choice of who to believe on this one. The White House lies to the press and the American people on a daily basis. During his short time on the job, Scaramucci bragged that he only reports to the President. He made it clear that this close communication with Trump was very important to him, but it may have never been sincere. It looks like he was used by the White House to get rid of Priebus and then immediately dumped.
Donald Trump’s mini-me couldn’t last two weeks working in the White House, and his firing is a test for whether one general can undo a West Wing of crazy and turn Trump into a semi-functional president.
