Playboy Executive Calls It A ‘Personal Embarrassment’ That Trump Was On The Magazine’s Cover

Donald Trump has become such an embarrassment that even the popular adult magazine Playboy says they deeply regret ever giving him a spot on the magazine’s front cover.

In comments made to The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper Hefner – son of Hugh Hefner and current Playboy chief creative officer – said Trump is pulling America back “to a reactionary cultural conservatism remarkable in its similarity to the Eisenhower years when Playboy was founded.”

On behalf of the magazine, Hefner said that he simply has no respect for the 45th president.

“We don’t respect the guy,” he said in the interview. “There’s a personal embarrassment because Trump is somebody who has been on our cover.”

As The Hill noted on Thursday, Trump was featured on the cover of the magazine’s March 1990 issue. But that’s not the president’s only connection to Playboy; he also appeared in several of their videos, including a “softcore porn film from 2000.”

“Beauty is beauty, and let’s see what happens with New York,” Trump said in the video.

For somebody like Trump, who thinks men are measured by the number of magazine covers they’ve graced – even if they’re fake ones! – losing the blessing of Playboy will likely be a great insult.

Sure, his presidency is circling the drain as the Russia scandal continues to mount, his incompetence continues to grow, and his mental stability continues to decline – but nothing gets under Trump’s incredibly thin skin quite like this.
