Paul Ryan Sinks To A New Low By Blaming Obama For Trump Ending DACA

In a radio interview back at his home in Janesville, WI, Speaker of the House, Rep. Paul Ryan, tried to blame Obama for Trump’s expected decision to end DACA protection for more than 800,000 immigrants who were brought to the US as children.

During an interview with wclo, Ryan said:

A real leader would have omitted the first paragraph of that answer blaming President Obama and would have told Trump not to end the DACA program. Paul Ryan is not a real leader. The Speaker of the House lacks the courage necessary to stand up to his own president when he is about to take action that will hurt hundreds of thousands of people and permanently damage the Republican Party.

Speaker Ryan had to hide his disagreement with Trump behind placing the blame on President Obama. Here is an idea. Instead of blaming Obama, Ryan could tell Trump to do the right thing and not end the DACA program. Trump doesn’t have to end the program. It doesn’t matter if Ryan believes that had the authority or not when DACA began. Obama is not the president anymore, so
Ryan should stand up to Trump, and tell him not to deport Dreamers by ending DACA.

Trump is president, not Obama. The blame Obama card expired on January 20, 2017. Paul Ryan could do the right thing, but he lacks the courage to stop enabling Trump.
