The federal investigation into the Russia scandal has expanded to include Michael Flynn’s son, as instead of getting smaller the investigation is snaring more people in Trump’s orbit.
NBC News reported, “Michael G. Flynn, the son of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, is a subject of the federal investigation into Russian meddling in the presidential election and possible collusion between Moscow and the Trump campaign, according to four current and former government officials. The inquiry into Flynn is focused at least in part on his work with his father’s lobbying firm, Flynn Intel Group, three of the officials said. It’s unclear when the focus on Flynn began.”
Flynn’s son was on the Trump transition team, which was headed by Vice President Mike Pence. The Trump transition team went as far as trying to get the younger Flynn national security clearance, and he ended up being dropped by the transition for spreading conspiracy theories like Pizzagate.
The Russia scandal web of Trump campaign and administration officials all connects, and at the center of it all is Donald Trump. So far, there has been no evidence that Trump didn’t know what was going on with Russia and his campaign. Special Counsel Robert Mueller may be trying to pressure the elder Flynn into telling investigators what he knows, but the picture of the Trump administration that is emerging is one that should terrify this president.
The connections are being made. The contacts are being exposed, and entire White House appears to be up to their eyes in the Russia scandal.
