Trump Crime Family Son In Law Jared Kushner Busted Using Private Email For White House Business

Lock them up!

President Trump’s son-in-Law Jared Kushner, as well as other Trump White House officials, have used private email accounts for official business according to Politico .

“Presidential son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner has corresponded with other administration officials about White House matters through a private email account set up during the transition last December, part of a larger pattern of Trump administration aides using personal email accounts for government business,” Josh Dawsey reported.

“Kushner uses his private account alongside his official White House email account, sometimes trading emails with senior White House officials, outside advisers and others about media coverage, event planning and other subjects, according to four people familiar with the correspondence. POLITICO has seen and verified about two dozen emails.”

Oh dear.

Of course, normal people realize this is not an offense for which one is usually “locked up”, but it is the issue over which Donald Trump convinced his cult to chant “Lock her up!” in reference to his opponent, Hillary Clinton, using a private email address as Secretary of State.

The reason Hillary Clinton’s email “scandal” was so ridiculous was mostly because almost all of the Republicans running for president who had been in executive office had done the same thing, and some much worse, including taking the computers, destroying hard drives, using private internet to conduct campaign work on the taxpayer’s time, and more.

Of course the rule matters in order to protect classified information, honor FOIA requests, and protect against cyberattacks, but it is not usually prosecuted unless there is a wilful intention to share classified information. We can assume that prosecuting is used to deter people from sharing classified information with enemies of the U.S..

The media sold the Hillary email scandal as a real scandal, which is really quite a feat given how difficult it is to get the public to care when men have done the exact same thing. Donald Trump took the media’s scandal, added a pair of figurative handcuffs, and coasted his way into a Russian-assisted victory, paltry as it was.

Now Donald Trump, who sold his cult on locking Clinton up over her emails, has an administration doing the exact same thing, only it’s probable given the Russia probe that their motives involve keeping secrets more disturbing than anything Hillary Clinton had on deck.

Irony is truly dead.
