Trump Heckled About Puerto Rico While Dedicating Golf Trophy To Hurricane Victims

America’s dislike of Trump followed him to the golf course. As the President dedicated the President’s Cup trophy to hurricane victims, reporters heard someone in the crowd yell, “You don’t give a shit about Puerto Rico.”

Via The White House Press Pool as provided to PoliticusUSA, Trump said, “On behalf of all of the people of Texas, and… if you look today and you see what’s happening, how horrible it is but we have it under really great control, Puerto Rico. And the people of Florida who have really suffered over this last period of time with the hurricanes. I want to just remember them, and we’re going to dedicate this trophy to all those people who went through so much, that we love, that are part of our great state, really a part of our great nation.”

Reporters heard someone yell from the crowd, “You don’t give a shit about Puerto Rico!”

Trump can try to hide at his properties each weekend. He can only hold his rallies in red states that he won, and mostly limit his interviews to Fox News and conservative media, but the disgust of the American people follows him where ever he goes.

President Trump has shown by his tweets that he doesn’t care about Puerto Rico. Trump can pretend that people love him. He can pretend that the country was in terrible shape before he became president, and he is doing a great job.

Trump and his staff of enablers can cook up delusions to keep his fragile ego pumped up, but the rage is real. The American people are rejecting Trump like a bad transplant, and there is nothing he can do to avoid being confronted with the truth that he is the least popular first-year president in American history.
