Trump’s Laziness Exposed As Four Upset Gold Star Families Have Received No Presidential Call

Four Gold Star families contacted by The Washington Post said they had not received a call from President Trump and they were upset about it.

After Trump claimed that he called all of the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, the Washington Post interviewed families of 13 out of the at least 20 who have died since Trump took office.

“About half had received phone calls, they said. The others said they had not heard from the president.”

“In all, seven Gold Star families contacted by The Post said they have had phone conversations with Trump. Most said they appreciated the gesture. Four families said they have not received a call and were upset. One said Trump had not called but that they knew the late soldier would not want his death politicized. An additional family said that it had corresponded with the White House, but declined to elaborate.”

Trump promised that he would write a check for $25,000.00, but never did, one father told the Post. The White House claimed the check was “sent.”

After facing backlash for his call to the family of Sgt. La David T. Johnson after taking weeks to reach out, first Trump claimed other presidents rarely made contact with families of the fallen and then denied that he was insulting, saying he “knew what he was signing up for, but I guess it hurts anyway.â€

But not only has Rep. Wilson not retracted her statement that came from overhearing the President during his call, but Johnson’s childhood guardian, Cowanda Jones-Johnson, told The Washington Post “that she also was in the car when the White House called and said that ‘President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband.'”

“The Associated Press found relatives of two soldiers who died overseas during Trump’s presidency who said they never received a call or a letter from him, as well as relatives of a third who did not get a call from him,” the Salt Lake Trib reported. It seems one of those families is in addition to the folks the Post spoke to, the family of Army Spec. Etienne Moore, 22.

Trump is neglecting the most basic duties of the presidency. How can troops be motivated to fight for the values of the United States of America when the President doesn’t have their backs? Trump doesn’t value their sacrifice. The President’s real feelings were made crystal clear when he told the family of La David Johnson that the Green Beret who lost his life fighting terrorism knew what he was getting into when he signed up.

Donald Trump never sacrificed in his life, so it is not surprising that he would be incapable of empathizing with the pain of Gold Star families.

Trump is the billionaire sociopath president who places zero value on human life.
