By claiming that there was nothing sexual in Trump’s attack on Gillibrand, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders made Trump’s life even worse.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, “I think that the president is very obvious. This is the same sentiment that the president has expressed many times before when he has exposed the corruption of the entire political system. In fact, he has used similar terminology many times when talking about politicians of both parties, both men and women in certainly his campaign to drain the swap. The system is clearly broken, clearly rigged for special interests. This president is someone who can’t be bought and it’s one of the reasons that he’s president today.”

The reporter followed up, “You are saying this quote, senator Jill brand would do anything is a reference to campaign contributions in Washington, the swamp, has nothing to do with her being a female. What is he alleging happened behind closed doors with her?”
Huckabee Sanders answered, “He’s not alleging anything. He is talking about the way our systems is. Politicians repeatedly beg for money. That’s not something new.”
No one believes that a president who is a walking conflict of interest has any desire to clean up corruption. Trump is the corruption.
Outside of those who voted for Trump, people aren’t going to buy the whole this wasn’t a sexist attack line coming from a president who has been accused of sexual assault by 17 different women.
Huckabee Sanders made this worse for Trump because her answer only leads to more questions. This White House is never going to stop lying and inventing fantasies to cover for Trump’s behavior.
The Press Secretary is only making it even worse for Trump.
