Lawrence O’Donnell Perfectly Sums Up Trump As Being Semiliterate and Mentally Ill

Lawrence O’Donnell painted the perfect picture of Trump as a semiliterate president who is also mentally ill.

Video:

O’Donnell said, “The president’s reaction today to what Steve Bannon says about him in that book came down to this. He lost his mind. The president whose mental health received a negative diagnosis from 27 psychiatrists and mental health professionals in a book published last year is defending himself against this new book by offering a mental health diagnosis of Steve Bannon. He lost his mind.”

The Last Word host also questioned Trump’s literacy, “One of the sources for the book is Katie Walsh who served as the White House deputy chief of staff in the first couple of months of the Trump White House. Here’s how Michael Wolff delivers her view of the commander in chief. He didn’t process information in any conventional sense. He didn’t read. He didn’t really even skim. Some believed that for all practical purposes he was no more than semiliterate.”

When all the pieces are put together what emerges is a picture of Donald Trump as a semiliterate, egomaniacal thug with no moral compass whose combination of arrogance and stupidity are an always present danger to the United States of America.

Donald Trump lacks the humility to admit what he doesn’t know, and he is too lazy learn. Trump has lived in a cocoon of wealth for his entire life, so he has never had to grow up or make any of the normal day to day decisions that confront the people that he is supposed to be governing. Trump is out of touch and out of his mind, and Lawrence O’Donnell is drumming the point home that this man should not be the president.
