The 96 Seconds that Lost Romney the Debate and Maybe the Election
The reaction is pouring in, and the consensus is that Mitt Romney lost the second presidential debate. There was one moment, specifically 96 seconds that lost the debate for Mitt Romney.
Here is the video:
Mitt Romney had a bad debate performance, but his night absolutely went up in flames when he thought he had Obama pinned down on his remarks the day after Libya only to see it all go up in flames. Candy Crowley’s real time fact check will go down in history as a watershed presidential debate moment. One of the unintended consequences of Romney’s lie to win strategy is that a premium has been placed on fact checking.
When Romney was proven wrong in front of millions of Americans, you could see his balloon pop. His confidence was gone, and at that moment, Mitt Romney’s frail confidence was shot. (Anyone who has watched Romney’s debate performances knows that he is streaky. He runs hot and cold. In the Republican primary debates where he got off to a bad start, the night often got worse. Romney is not good at coming from behind.)
It was ironic that Libya came back to bite Romney. The Republican nominee is a foreign policy nightmare, and his absolute cluelessness in international affairs haunted him again in this debate. The Libya exchange was a moment that America got to see the real Romney.
Mitt Romney will do and say anything to win.
Mitt Romney is a creature who is trapped in the right wing media bubble, and many of his attacks on Obama, including the claim that the president apologizes for America, are charges that were birthed via the right wing media. The Libya moment revealed the consequences of the conservative decision to create and live in their own reality. During the debate Romney got confused and thought he was debating the imaginary left wing socialist who apologizes for America created by the right wing.
When President Obama injected reality and Candy Crowley backed him up, Romney not only lost a debate. In those 96 seconds, he might have lost the election.

Well, Romney was actually right about it. Pres. Obama actually refused to called it a terrorist attack on the view and numerous other settings. Ms. Crowley even said as much the following day. Check it out:

Still Obama performed much better than last go around. I think Romney did well. Probably a tie more than a blow out.

I tend to agree. Not a blow out. I was surprised how much (and passionately) Obama interrupted. Both of them were bad but I expected better demeanor out of POTUS.

I’m quite sure he was cocky just on the basis of his debate “win” the first time around, which anyone who’s been paying attention was based on an endless stream of lies. That overconfidence led him to make a critical mistake, a mistake that stems directly from the skewed righwing nutjob narrative that the president has been a weak apologist for this country. I knew a little about Candy Crawley before this debate, but she has my lasting respect for the smackdown she delivered in her polite, professional way.

Cruelty to animals is a common precursor to criminal adult activity i.e. serial murderers score high in this one.
And a young man old enough to fit into a police officers uniform and pull over innocent citizens is not only illegal but a real sign of the mental instability–need for control—need to be seen as an authority figure—ability to lie and to take great risks doing so—are indicative of someone who is greatly disturbed.
Think about it. Young men (and women) can do some pretty stupid things, but really, know anyone whoever dressed up like a police officer and actually pulled people over!
That and the way he treated his dog tell me this is one really unstable individual.
He came close to losing it tonight during the debate. Comments are already out about how it felt like things were possibly going to get physical and I dont even think Republicans would dare to suggest that our calm, cool, dignified, President rather than aggressive, rude, interrupting Romney is the one that got heated.
Got cut off on my comment below but, next debate is foreign policy, Romney’s weakest area.
Being the malignant narcissist that he is, Romney will NOT use good judgment and I hereby predict he will come closer to losing it as he fails in debating President Obama –WHO ONLY HAS TO COMMENT SMILINGLY ABOUT HOW ROMNEY INSULTED THE ENGLISH WITH HIS REMARKS ABOUT THEIR BEING READY FOR THE OLYMPICS, HIS REMARK THAT RUSSIA WAS A THREAT ETC
Romney has no where to go except to “fight dirty” next time. He knows he has lost his argument and name calling is all he has left.
As I said below: the more desperate he gets, the more his inappropriate and undeserved self confidence i.e. magical thinking / narcissistic UNreality bubble, will show itself.
After the election, he will be compared more and more to Palin. A fate worse than death LOL LOL :)

The give away is when Romney starts stuttering. He’s lived his entire life in a bubble surrounded by sycophants and yes people and has never been challenged and confronted by anyone. This is a rude awakening for him that not everyone sees him as he sees himself ie always incharge, giving orders and firing people. Worse it’s a black man who has brought him down, I just know he’s still steaming and his anger and outrage at the next debate will hopefully be his total and complete downfall. He’ll be out for revenge, not a good thing.
Btw, Ann Romney’s face at the end of the debate shows she knows he lost it and big.

You could say maybe he lost the election in those 96 seconds, and I certainly know what you mean, but I’d rather say that Obama decisively put him back where he basically was all along, it’s just that a lot of people had forgotten.

I love how Liberals are more worried about how a few seconds in a debate might have possibly come off then the President looking right into the camera and blatantly lying to everyone with zero remorse.
The President didnt call 9/11 a Terrorist attack the next day, he spent the first half of the speech talking about “offending religions” – yet he showed he is more then willing to blatantly lie to you to get your vote. On the other hand, IF he did think it was a terrorist attack though, then he exposed the nonsensical “you-tube video” coverup which he and his mouthpieces insisted was the case for more then 2 weeks (which means he either lied in the debate or lied for the 2 weeks after – thats how independents feel today)
No matter, all the polls have Romney winning the arguments on the economy, taxes, heathcare, deficit, etc… so yeah, undecideds (who are only undecided because they desperately dont want to vote for Obama again – they verified almost all undecideds from the debate floor and multiple focus groups last night voted Obama last time around) came away still having no reason to vote for Obama, but with a better opinion of how Romney would handle the issues which matter to their daily lives. …and yes, they will remember how Obama lied right to their face (and ended up with another gaffe which will end up being the near sole focus of the week after Biden did the same putting his foot in his mouth last week)
Obama getting no where near 50% in the polls means he has no shot of winning reelection. 3 debates later and Democrats havent persuaded anyone, while Romney has proven to a gigantic amount of them he is worthy and subsequently seen them offer their vote. Its over already, and now its just a matter of how badly will Obama lose – in a close election like Ford lost, or flat out slaughtered like Carter (indicators are saying slaughtered, but he still has a bit of chance to rile up you Liberals enough to at least save some face and end within 6…

Obama should make a video listing the more obvious lies of Romney and the PROOF of those lies i.e. like the clip where Obama states it was a terrorist attack along with a clip from the debate with Romney’s arrogant, cock-sure raised eyebrows just before he got “corrected” by Crowley.
The videoshould show two things:
1) Romney tells out and out lies and knowingly does so ie. this can be shown by him contradicting himself, especially of women’s issues.
2) Even when he thinks he is telling the truth–as in the debate tonight—he is SO ILL INFORMED AND SO REMISS IN FACT CHECKING PRIOR TO SUCH AN IMPORTANT EVENT that he is too incompetent to be President of the United States and leader of the free world.
Remember, OUR president’s influence is NOT just within our own borders, or even limited to foreign relations. Our economy, our morality, our strength as a country is a model for every country on this planet.
NO OTHER country’s leader has as much influence AND RESPONSIBILITY as does the President of the United States.
To have someone as mentally unstable as a Romney/Palin in such a position would devastate more than just our own country.

Romney is a classic sociopathic narcissist. These people are highly combative, manipulative and self centered. They are also masters of their own bs. If you’ve ever known or lived with someone like that, you can clearly see it in Romney. He would destroy our country and be proud of how well he destroyed it.

I lived with one, my mother, and I agree with you completely.
The ONLY thing that is important to a narcissist is that THEY are credited with being powerful and since the only thing that really means anything to them is their own self, it is usually something negative that they end up being known for.
They don’t care — as long as the world “notices” them they feel mission accomplished. They literally do NOT care what harm they do to others so why should they care if they are “known” as good or bad.
Just as long as they can see that they can affect others they are happy. Sometimes — most times—knowing they can hurt, destroy, cause suffering just makes them feel “God-like.”

I don’t get a clear idea WHY he wants to be POTUS. Obama is a politician, pubic servant and this is something that he has prepared to do…no matter what you think of his performance.
What is Romney’s motivation? It is obvious that he has no serious, consistent personal vision…he has ‘built’ a list of adopted positions that he thinks will work. But, it is clear that he is totally naive regarding the wider world and he is stuck in a 20th century worldview.
Obama relished his world presence…you may not agree with his message, but, he is comfortable in the role and he is warmly accepted and regarded in most venues. He wants to be President…he sees himself as President. Romney just wants to be President…not enough…and his outdated, worn and dangerous rhetoric will only prolong a Bush II response from reasonable people throughout the world.

You might want to do yourself a service and acknowledge the definition of the words “acts of terrorism”. It would seem that EITHER conclusion seems to have the same actions. Whether the violence was planned or unplanned, it’s still terrorism. I fail to see your issue of the “panic” you try to portray.

It is so obvious that you are a low information individual, Karen, and that you haven’t been paying close attention to the way President Obama operates. The MSM dubbed him “no drama Obama” specifically because he waits until he gets all of the information before opening his mouth. I much prefer President Obama’s way of doing things than that of Romney and his buddies in Congress. Romney has stuck his foot in his mouth in regard to foreign policy so many times that it’s become a permanent fixture. Issa, Chaffetz, and other republicans in the House tried to embarrass the president about the deaths of our State dept. officials in Benghazi last week, but the bumbling idjits were only successful at exposing the fact that the CIA had a secret base of operations there. It’s people like you, Karen that give the lie to the claim that “America is an Exceptional Nation” because there’s nothing exceptional about willful ignorance and stunning stupidity about what goes on in one’s very own government.

The right is apoplectic about the Palestinians voting in Hamas…fair, open election…but they voted in a group that WE don’t like…so, a careful, calculated intelligent approach to these movements is imperative! Just study the Bush et al actions in Iraq..the total ignorance…the incredibly uninformed stupidity…We are looking at a repeat with Romney who has taken a long drink of Neo-Con Kool-Aide and talks to the rest of the world as if he was exempt from common sense civility. You think I’m kidding? Expect to hear more of this, because the one thing today’s “conservative” can’t do is admit error. So they’ll come up with b.s. arguments about how Romney was really right on this.

The loss of any American life cannot be tolerated when they are serving in universally accepted, legal ambassadorial activities.

Romney needs to learn:
Do NOT disrespect a food server PRIOR to their getting your food to you—come on, you don’t really need this explained do you ?
Do NOT debate with the moderator.
Do NOT imply you respect women and then disrespect the woman you are being moderated by.
Do NOT fail to answer a simple, uncomplicated question like (paraphrased here) “Do you think women should make the same wage for the same job?
(Do NOT think we are too stupid to know what your unspoken answer was to this question.”
Do NOT hire staff who are too afraid to tell you the truth over telling you what you want to hear i.e. WHO told you Obama did NOT call it a terrorist attack–was he/she TOO STUPID to watch the film clip and verify before giving you a rubber knife to take to a gun fight !
DO realize that you narcissistic “UNreality bubble” with it’s magical thinking that NO one is better than you will ALWAYS cause you to SELF destruct.
When you treat THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES in such an arrogant, patronizing, condescending, way, when you treat him in the SAME MANNERthat racist treated blacks by calling gray haird black men, “boy”–when you treat the respected female journalist as if YOU are the moderating authority and not she, do NOT expect for blacks, women, non-racist, mentally healthy adults to vote for you.
The more the country saw of Palin, the more SHE SELF-DESTRUCTED by showing her own mentally ill narcissistic evil self and the same thing is now happening with Romney.
The more desperate HE gets, the more HE will show his true character –and NOT just behind closed doors in ‘quiet rooms,’
Mitt Romney’s ugly, disrespectful, narcissistic evil was exposed more tonight than ever before. It will be more exposed as he continues to get desperate, just as Palin’s malignant narcissism became more obvious as she saw herself being humilated in front of the ENTIRE WORLD and due to NO ONE’S fault except her own.

Good post, DT, and it is so reflective of what I witnessed happen to my own dad who was a great husband and father. He was constantly disrespected by southern white males in the 1950s and 1960s when I was growing up. None of those who thought they were better than he was, based solely on the fact that his skin contained more melanin than theirs, were qualified to shine my dad’s shoes. He accomplished more in his lifetime than a majority of those who thought being white made them better. He owned two homes, saw all of his kids graduate high school (some of us earned college degrees when theirs didn’t,) and he had a civil service job that provided him with a very good salary. That some Americans still seem to think that one’s race, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference, etc determines one’s level of intelligence, drive to succeed, parenting skills, morals, etc. shows me that racism and bigotry are alive and well in America. The election of then-Senator Barack Obama to the presidency in 2008 brought a resurgence of the racists/bigots, emboldened them, and the GOP provided them with a national platform from which to spread their hatred of everyone who doesn’t fit their stereotype of who/what a “real” American is. These folks are so invested in their echo chamber that they are immune to the ridicule leaders and citizens of other nations heap on them on a daily basis. I’ve read what writers and citizens in foreign magazines/newspapers have said about the GOP, its politicians, and its supporters, and it is almost always 100% negative.

Hahaha. Crowley has already walked back her assertion and Obama will be feeling the heat of this gaffe for days. He clearly cannot explain how, if he was calling it an act of terror on Sep 12, why he and the Susan Rice repeatedly blamed the video. Nor can he explain how Joe Biden said in his debate that they did not know it was a terror attack because the State Dept. never told them it was.
What happened here is just the opposite. It cost Obama the election. This and Romney killing him on the main issue: the economy. And it’ll just get worse in the next debate.

Just keep up with the sound as you see the lips moving. What do you call it…something like straight from the horse’s mouth? People with good reasoning would also question how and why Obama knew the moderator had a transcript and then asked her to show It to Romney; and how fast she waved that transcript to support his lie with her own lie. The undecided voters will see through this; and all of the moderators being from the same party as Obama.

I have talked to my friends that are still willing to vote for Romney after all of his mistakes because they don’t trust Obama and there are a couple of things he did that they don’t agree with, and yet these same people believe in the right to choose although they are pro-life, and support marriage equality in some form, but they are willing to risk the state of our nation just to get him out. I wish Romney supporters would explore other options because if we wins it sends the wrong message to the GOP and world.

A high school debater would have done better than Romney last night, he was “bitchy” and combative and couldn’t follow directions, he interrupted and tried to distract-he used every communication blocking, used car salesman tactic that he is used to getting away with-this time Obama let him have it, and to some degree the moderator, at least tried to secure an element of truth. This person, this bully, is the nasty untalented CEO that you would never want as a friend or admire or think highly of. He is the worst of what American Capitalism can be, a cranky offensive pompous uncaring ahole who, because he was born into wealth and position has no reality of the human experience, he has no soul.

Love your post.
When Romney knows he is losing the argument, he stutters.
When he knows he is losing he talks faster.
When he knows he is losing he talks out of turn.
When he knows he is losing he talks over the person whose turn it is to talk.
When he knows he is losing he becomes personally condescending, patronizing and rude.
Romney mistakes might for right.
Romney has had power due to his wealth and due to h is ability to control people (employees) by firing them; by the power by association of having a powerful father. Unfortunately for Romney he thinks he can be C.E.O. ( i.e. ruler ) of this country and does not realize:
“To rule truly, is to serve.” ( cannot remember author’s name.)
Romney wants to be our boss and wants to fire the 47%.
Romney would think he was disrespecting himself if he “served” anyone, much less inferiors like those of us less wealthy than he is.

SHOCKING VIDEO – ROMNEY CAUGHT:
Romney sees both the LOSS of American Lives AND AMERICANS IN DANGER AS AN OPPORTUNITY !
– - – Many of us heard the story that the Romney campaign had told the AP ( associated press) that
“Libya was an OPPORTUNITY”. . . . HEAR Romney actually say that “he was looking for another
opportunity of American lives to be in danger”.
REMEMBER the video from that fundraiser ? I had to listen a couple of times until I caught it. . . . .
Romney was saying the Iran hostage crisis in 1980 was an “opportunity.” And that he was keeping his eyes out for another “opportunity” for Americans’ lives to be threatened.. . . .
In the attached VIDEO CLIP Romney says regarding American hostages in 1980:
[at 2:02min] “I mean, if something of that nature presents itself I will work to find a way to take advantage of the opportunity.”
** Listen to this clip – The conversation about the American Hostages in 1980 begins 1:32 min. into the clip.
Romney’s HORRIBLE comment comes at 2:02 min. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L...

Thanks for reminding me of that portion of the video. The deaths of four Americans is of no consequence to this heartless, opportunistic, sociopathic narcissistic man, but an opportunity to make political hay. Glad he was taken down last night. I think the parents realised that and spoke out publicly against Romney using the deaths of their loved ones for his own agenda. One would think he would have taken heed of their pain and showed some respect but no, he’s still running with it. Hopefully last night will be the end for this opportunist.

Fortunately, your opinion doesn’t matter on Romney’s record on his service to his country and fellowmen. Would you refuse that governor’s salary like he did? Would you devote your time trying to unite the democrats and republicans that hate each other FOR FREE; for the sake of Massachusetts and its residents? Would you tell the Olympics that you want to solve its problem FOR FREE like Romney did? The Mormons don’t get paid for their services. He was a Bishop and a Stake President? Would you devote at least 5 hours of every Sunday FOR FREE as a Bishop; travel and pay for your own gas and offer your services as a Stake President—FOR FREE?
He’ll get judged when judgment time comes; but definitely not by a clueless judgmental hypocrite like you. How many taxpayers will it take to equal the amount of tax he pays in one year? His 14% is not even 500% of your entire family’s tax dues; if 500% were possible.

I notice all the thumbs down and the right wing empty arguments. All I can say is this. When a republican like Candy calls your butt out for lying, then believe it is a big darned lie, as she stumps for the right.

But didn’t you know this was all a left-wing conspiracy developed by the liberal media elite and that Obama and herself obviously planned it out since she had the facts in front of her!!??? *sarcasm throughout statement*

Concerning the embassy attack, people need to understand that ambassadors, embassies and diplomacy abroad relies on the various countries’ mutual respect for this “international rule of law and courtesy”. It would have taken an army base full of soldiers to repel this gang of thugs who did not respect this courtesy. And then it would not be an embassy but rather an army base. We have foreign embassies here in America and they are safe because we do respect this law and I do not want a foreign army here on American soil stationed to protect that embassy. Based on the intelligence, Obama could have withdrawn his ambassador from that unstable, hostile nation but that is not what the ambassador wanted. If we withdraw all our ambassadors from all unstable potentially hostile nations we won’t have very much out there. This was a gang of criminal thugs and they will be brought to justice.

Well said…the key- they are thugs and criminals. You might remember that John Kerry suggested that Osama and the rest should be treated as criminals and they should be hunted down by the joint efforts of already existing international policing agencies, captured, and brought before existing tribunals and jailed. Kerry was pilloried by the Right for trying to pour cold water on their Project for a New American Century…We HAD TO GO TO WAR! How else would we achieve world domination as the only remaining super power.

Have you people lost your mind? The president blamed a video and said it was a spontaneous attack during a demonstration for 2 weeks, when they knew it wasn’t. If he knew the next day it was a terrorist attack, then why was he and everyone else out there going around blaming the video? This will not lose Romney the election, the American people are not idiots!

You are a idiot if you believe Romney. In the debate yesterday, he does not believe women should get equal pay for equal work. He also believes that children of illegal immigrants born in the U.S. should become citizens while their parents are deported. Romney can’t get his facts straight. Three weeks before the election, Romney has not provided details on what he will do in office. Republicans and the right wing can not stand a intelligent African American male as President. Romney and the Republicans have turned this election into a race / gender issue.

Obama won but let Romney off the hook several times.
He failed to point out that Mitt wasn’t responsible for his states balanced budgets as it’s the law in Mass.
or that there is no such thing as a republican Pell Grant, (pro education my ass)
or Reagan’s recovery wasn’t saddled with two wars paid for with tax cuts,
or that the republican congress voted to cut spending on consulate security,
or that for most of the middle class there’s no capital gains TO tax, so that in itself is a tax cut for the wealthy.
A point off for leaving too much low hanging fruit, BUT I’d still call it a unanimous decision for Obama…

“most of the middle class there’s no capital gains TO tax”
This is old (late 80s-early 90s), and on the order of hearsay, but I remember my mother-in-law, who was a realtor, telling of middle class people being hit with the capital gains tax because their homes had significantly increased in value, and ended up loosing more in the sale than they originally paid. I think – THINK she named names. They didn’t immediately roll the “profits” into a new house and that killed their hopes.
Note that she’s been conservative most of her life, and for many years spouted the Republican line – as did I because of the programming I got from the “Good Christian” churches.
That was one of my fears throughout the years I was in business… that they’d find some way to take away any lucky break that came along (which didn’t).

well said…As an attorney I would expect Obama to have prepared his case more thoroughly. I realize that there are a million issues and a million pieces of data that need to be memorized, but, come on, all of us can get all of the information on line…much if it is bulleted, numbered and arranged!

Romney has a bad habit trying to turn tragedies into political opportunities for himself. He truly does not care about what happened; only about how it will help him. In December 2007, when no one was an officially declared candidate yet, PM Bhutto of Pakistan was assassinated. It was on a Thursday (morning for us; late afternoon for them). John McCain ran to the mics to practically declare war on Pakistan, and Mitt was in such a hurry to get in front of the mics to show how knowledgeable he was that he forgot to even offer his sympathies. (Remember Pakistan is one of our allie and they have NUKES!) Mitt had to call ANOTHER press conference to say, Oh, by the way, I’m sorry she died…
Meanwhile, Senator Obama sent out a simple text-only message of condolences on that Thursday. Two days later, on Saturday, Senator Obama went on TV and had complete command of the actual total situation; he let people know that he, and only he, had been in consultations with the PM since the prior summer about all kinds of issues in that area–including that OBL was in Pakistan. That’s why BHO knew he could eventually get OBL.
LEADERSHIP entails getting the FACTS first and working WITH people–even those people very different from us.

It is irrelevant to me when it was called a terrorist act. I don’t understand why that point is such a big deal, except that the R’s want to make it one.
While a situation is unfolding, the wiser course is to wait and gather information. I’d rather have President Obama in these times of crisis.
And Mitt Romney was so completely wrong in trying to score political cheap shots the day this happened. He has no sense of decency.

You must have missed where Candy Crowley came back after the debate and stated that Romney was right. So, she just blew up your entire article.
In his Rose Garden statement, Obama referenced “acts of terror” in a generalized statement. Then, went on to speak of denigrating others religious beliefs in reference to the video trailer.
Nice try, though.

You misunderstand the point completely. Candy Crowley fact checked and stated, quite correctly that PO did indeed refer to the incident as an ‘act of terror’ the day after the tragedy. She then stated Romney was correct in that it took 2 weeks for the Administration to state it was not because of the video but rather radicals. Ms. Crowley was correct on both grounds and gave credit to both. Romney lied about PO not calling the incident a terrorist attack right away which was incorrect, PO did call it that.

The fact that the President said “proceed Gov Romney” was a set up (4 the TKO)! He knew what he was talking about. When C.C., fact-checked Mittens on the spot, MADE that SMIRK of a SMILE dropped from his face, the sound was heard all over the country & the world… He look like he couldn’t FIND a rock quick enough to hide under…. The 47% was the cherry on top…. An ending to a lovely meal.. ( last word ha!)

Pepper, it’s a big deal because there was a murdered US Ambassador who was dragged through the streets like a can of trash, along with three other Americans. And it happened a week after Obama said al Qeada was on the run and on the same day al Qeada raised its flag over the US embassy in Cairo. It just happened to be 9/11, the day US defenses should be at their highests and weren’t.
It also matters that for political purposes the POTUS and his administration tried to covered it up by blaming a spontaneous demonstration for what everyone, including the head of Libya, knew was a terrorist attack.
Maybe this stuff is no big deal to you– or maybe you just want to say it’s no bog deal because it hurts your guy’s chances in the election– but it’s offensive to say so. The AMerican people deserve the truth, not Nixonian stonewalling.

First off, noone was dragged thru the streets, you’re confusing the incident with Somalia many years ago. The Libians tried to revive Ambassador Stevens and took him to the hospital where Doctors were unable to revive him. He died of asphyxia or suffocation secondary to smoke inhalation. Noone was dragged thru the streets. LIAR!!
Noone as yet knows why Ambassador Stevens left the Embassy and returned to the Consulate which seems to be a CIA residence. Lets all wait until the investigation is completed before making false and stupid statements.

I didn’t say the attack wasn’t a big deal. Of course it was.
It’s stupid to focus on when it was called a terrorist attack. That is not the most important point.
Romney was totally irresponsible to be trying to make political points while the facts are still coming out.

Ambassador Stevens was not dragged through the street. Several male Libyan bystanders found him in the rubble, temporarily resuscitated him, and carried him on foot to the hospital, where he expired as doctors were working on him. His would-be rescuers were the furthest thing from terrorists, and wholly undeserving of slander.

I love how pragmatism is looked down on by the right. We did 8 years of “from the gut” cowboyism. Did wonders for us. Just admit that your candidate is an out of touch selfish ass, so we can get back to arguing about things that matter.
