Amazon has sock puppets patroling it to insult customers for posting, because the company doesn’t hear them anyway. They and tell them they’re stupid, and to phone the office and complain that way.

I posted a comment at 5:07 this morinig, and 9 minutes later, “help forum pro” Rizzo was online insulting me, and telling me again that nobody was listening and I should “get off my bottom” (and go away), instead.

Looks like I hit a nerve.

I used to shop for my family at Wal-Mart regularly. Boycotted them over a year ago and haven’t missed it a bit. I’m also a long-time customer of Amazon. I do much of my Christmas shopping through them every year. But I refuse to support a company which aligns itself with a political agenda that hurts poor and middle class Americans, supports corporate greed/fascism and is an assault to our basic democracy. This is enough reason for me to boycott Amazon and do my shopping elsewhere. There are alternatives and I prefer to spend my money responsibly and with a conscience.

I hadn’t heard about Amazon and ALEC although I see it’s been out there in one for or other for a while. I’ve been making lots of purchases and even “subscribe and save” even for food I can’t find in stores here. I’ll have to give up my Big Red I guess. Also Amazon Cloud Drive, my Amazon Prime membership and video streaming.
