I agree with you Tim,100%.And no,I didn’t get my pony but then again,I didn’t ask for one.All I asked was that President Obama do his best,which is just what he has done.
I also agree with the other repliers.When your OWN party doesn’t have your back,what can you do?That is just one of the reasons I send my donations directly to the Obama campaign and not to the DCCC.I do not want one penny of my money going to these folks who will not back our President.
I will gladly vote for President Obama in November.

This is the best comment here, period.

I didn’t vote for President Obama because I thought he could snap his fingers and fix everything in two seconds. I knew that the task he faced could not be finished in one term.

I voted for him because he was the right man for the job. True, some “progressives” have tried to depict alternate histories where things could have been okay under McCain/Palin (and some might try with Romney and his running mate), but let’s face it–he, Obama, has done a lot, even with the resistance from Congress and especially the GOP.

He’s a smart man and a _good_ man. He’s being a pragmatist and taking the long view.

Maybe we do not deserve his exceptional skills, like you said, but man, I’m sure glad we have them. And hopefully, come November, more people will see that.

Well, not exactly. They are what gays were to the Nazis, and Muslims are what the Jews were to the Nazis. Though the truth is, all of us who don’t fit in with their scheme become what Jews were to the Nazis. On the other hand, women willing to adapt- nice, white, Christian women, I mean- become what Aryan women were to the Nazis: servicers of the “right” kinds of men and breeders of “right” kinds of children.

Sigh – No. The office of faith based initiatives it WAY different from Bush – it no longer will permit one thin dime to go to proselytizing as Bush overlooked or encouraged. The work and funding are ALL for social services, NO preaching. THAT is change I definitely believe in!

So put on your walking shoes, flip flops, hiking boots and walk door to door where you are. Talk with people in your area unless they are already preparing to vote for him – hit the undecideds, use your best calm presentation, and TALK, WALK, CALL, GOTV for this president.

Money cannot outpace boots on the ground IF we all do it. I am, and I did it in the 60s and 70s so I’m a whole lot older now. If I can and you are able, DO IT!
