This is applicable in the case of Joe Paterno, and imo, it’s also applicable to GOPers and Romney. Many faux conservatives know within their hearts that Romney isn’t what he has claimed to be, but they are more than willing to keep propping him up in their efforts to help him win the WH in November. They are willing to sacrifice the nation and its citizens, including its most vulnerable citizens, to achieve this goal.

Bravo for using the term “sexual assault” instead of a euphemism used by most of the media which minimizes the evil, violent act.

No reason to treat coaches, clergy, religious “leaders”, or any other man, like God. They aren’t. We give them way too much power. In the end, Paterno cared only about himself and what he could get before it all came to light. He is not a hero.
