As a Mormon Bishop, Mitt would be expected by his congregation to do those things. A Mormon Bishop is a minister on the congregational level and the expectation is that he is available 24/7.

How come no one picked-up on her recent comment to David Gregory stating the following:

“My husband was by my son’s side when he was dying of leukemia.”

According to experts, that poor young man was a neighbour’son aged 14.

I sincerely hope it is not hallucination consequent to brain damage and if it isn’t, then makes it a lie again….

I think she uses her MS diagnosis as a sympathy card. What she doesn’t realise is most people suffering from MS and other debilitating diseases do not have the wealth she and her husband has to get the best treatment/care. I think Mrs. Obama’s story of her Dad is much more sincere and telling, he was the sole breadwinner and had to struggle to get up and go out to work everyday unlike Mrs. Romney.
Mrs. Obama’s story though I had heard of it before brought me to tears, not so Ann Romney. These two really don’t get it. Her husband made his millions in unethical, unsavory manner leaving thousands of hard working Americans unemployed and without health care. I thus have no sympathy for either of them. Cry me a river.

The Mormon Church isn’t against war. Many Mormons have served honorably in past wars & are currently serving in the military. Romney supported the Vietnam war & actually protested the protesters who were against it. Then he ran away, like the draft dodger he was, getting 5 deferments until it was over. He recently said “he wishes he could have served in the war.” HAH!

He claims his sons ARE serving the Country – by helping him get elected President. It’s just the elite who don’t have to, and don’t want to serve our country.

He can’t wait to get in office so he can declare war on Iran & about 5 other middle east countries. Surrounded by Bush’s NeoCon foreign policy advisers, who pushed us into the illegal & immoral war in Iraq, he’ll attack any country that even looks cross eyed at us, or that he imagine looks cross eyed at us. The World shakes at the thought of his getting elected. Gotta keep that Military Industrial Complex fat & happy.
