Deranged Crackpot Sarah Palin Blames the IRS for Obama’s Reelection
While looking for any reason at all to delegitimize President Obama, Sarah Palin decided that the IRS is responsible for helping the president win a second term.
From deep within her Facebook bunker of pout, Palin wrote,
Today we learned that our government targeted and harassed conservative Americans who simply wanted to be involved in the national discussion. Is it any wonder why Americans are so distrustful of D.C.? I’m sure President Obama is grateful for all the help the IRS gave his reelection campaign, but, still, you have to wonder how the bureaucrats who tried to pull this off can sleep at night.
So many Americans knew this was happening, but many felt defenseless and even helpless against a government that seems to roll along without accountability or sense of obligation to the people it’s supposed to serve. These Americans were mocked for being concerned about this, but now we see light shining on the truth, finally.
This IRS revelation is another step in the unraveling of the Obama administration’s self-proclaimed “hope and change.” Between the Benghazi cover-up and the IRS targeting Obama’s political opponents, we see the corruption at the heart of big government.
Americans should remember that this same corrupt IRS will be in charge of enforcing Obamacare. And this same inept and corrupt government will supposedly secure our now unsecured borders in advance of immigration reform and will implement a completely ethical and non-political IPAB panel to make life and death health care decisions for you and your family. Forgive me for not trusting these big government promises any more than I trust the White House’s latest Benghazi spin or the IRS’ fairness.
Sarah Palin can’t handle the fact that President Obama won reelection, so she is blaming the IRS for Obama’s victory. The problem with Palin’s latest outburst is that the IRS didn’t stop these conservative groups from existing. The conservative groups who were flagged by the IRS were petitioning for tax exempt status. They were trying to get out of having to pay taxes. It is a shame that they had to go through the extra hassle and paperwork because they were targeted by the IRS for review, but let’s not make too much of this.
The IRS was wrong to target these groups based on their use of certain words, but the IRS didn’t shut down the groups. They simply reviewed their applications to see if they should be given tax exempt status.
It is ironic to say the least that Sarah Palin would be whining about conservatives being targeted and harassed when Sarah Palin has spent years whining about voter fraud that doesn’t really exist. Palin supports excluding and targeting minorities to keep them from voting, but screams bloody murder at the thought of any of the shady conservative super PACs paying taxes. (Remember, Sarah Palin has a shady superPAC of her own that serves as her lifestyle slush fund, so she definitely has a dog in this fight.)
Sarah Palin is so full of hatred and envy that she is looking for any reason to delegitimize the president’s reelection. Obama couldn’t have possibly won in 2012 because he was the better candidate. In Sarah Palin’s warped mind, the president must have cheated.
The rest of her paint huffing Unibomberesque rant is more of the same old stuff. Lies about immigration, Benghazi, and Obamacare are just another day on the living room couch for Palin.
Even by Palin’s standards, the claim that the IRS helped Obama win the election is way out there. It doesn’t make sense, but it does shine the light of truth on Sarah Palin’s never ending bitterness towards President Obama.

The Tea Party needs to be investigated by the IRS because we need to know who else besides the Koch Brothers are funding them. Then the money men needvto have a forensic audit of the their wealth so that their off shore accounts can be taxed and then seized.

You wrote exactly what I was thinking as I read the writing purportedly by Palin. She babbles unintelligibly and the ghost writer was about 180 degrees from her abilities as far as grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
I would bet the ghost writer could name the top newspapers and magazines they read, short of “Um, all of ‘em, any of ‘em that, um, have, have been in front of me over all these years”.

It’s Sarah Palin. She doesn’t know shit from shinola. She’s mad the GOP didn’t fix the election so she would have won. There’s a black man in the White House instead of her. You do realize she thinks her name was first on the ballot! She doesn’t want anyone to check into her Pak (her personal slush fund)! Her daddy just had open heart surgery. Bet the family chipped in to pay the expense so those Death Panels can’t get to him! No government meddling into their affairs. Old Chuckie could pay for his own surgery from all the postage she’s written off that her daddy takes care off. Buying all those stamps and licking all those campaign packets out to her millions of fans so she will run next election! Half-term, half-wit Sarah isn’t running for anything but attention to keep that money coming into her Pak. IRS anyone? She’s running scared. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Unless you are an ultra-rightwing evangelical, you’ll never hear anything from Sarah Palin that sounds rational. The large numbers of those that admire and respect her opinion about anything aren’t rational or well educated about their own country, and much less about the world. Personally, I’m astounded that she still gets press coverage and respect from anyone.

What a freaking crock! ALL organizations claiming 501(c)(3) tax exempt status have to go through the SAME PROCESS. In various states, you also have to appear before a judge to prove you’re the real deal. Getting tax exempt status is a social responsibility, and pretending you’re a charity or educational organization when you’re actually a political entity (which can be tax exempt but is NOT tax deductible) means tough review.
The 501(c)(4) advocacy organizations are most abused by the religious right and conservative political campaigns. Too many don’t bother having a c-4 since it’s much harder to raise donations when they cannot be deducted.Liberal faith groups use them and abide by the law – ultra right ones flaunt the law. Political c-4 groups try to hide funders.
So yeah – right, center, left – you go for a c-3 or c-4 the IRS is gonna grill you. It has nothing to do with their politics – it’s their HONESTY!!!

She’s been trying to get his attention since day one, she gets more & more vindictive each & every time he ignores her – which is always. The only people who won’t accept that she’s lying through her teeth are those who hate democrats, Pres. Obama, and sane conservatives/republicans as much as she does. That anyone could think this under-educated, lying, attention-craving, pandering, money-grubbing, greedy tool should be anywhere near the White House needs to have his/her head examined. It is because of people who believe Palin’s lies that this country is in the shape it is in today. These same tools voted GWB into the WH two times and put the tea party in charge of the House of Representatives. These are also the same folks who never look at themselves as being responsible for our sluggish economic recovery. They have no ability to connect the politicians they voted into office to their present circumstances, and it is not only appalling, it’s disheartening and sickening.

Exactly. This is the point that so many people don’t realize about Palin. Yes, she’s fiercely anti-intellectual and has little respect for education. However, at the same time, she’s lying and she knows it. Most people don’t believe them (which is why Palin never made it to the White House), but those who do will ultimately get screwed over. It should be remembered that this was the same woman who said she was running for President in 2012 and changed her mind long after supporters had given her campaign contributions.
So, Sarah’s got no business pointing fingers at anyone.

Sorry, but tax exempt status is actually hard to get and the paperwork is or was very extensive.
So if you have an entity seeking tax-exempt status that labels itself “Tax Enough Already” you are screaming for extra scrutiny.

This is the only way you can deal with sociopaths. Granted, I don’t know Palin personally and I’m not a therapist. However, Palin does exhibit so many characteristics of a sociopath that I wouldn’t trust her with a ten foot pole.
I’ve ignored her during most of her “15 minutes of fame.” I’m only commenting on her now because its so obvious that she’s washed up. Her supporters simply refuse to see this because if they did, they may come to the realization that she’s probably conned them in some form or fashion.
But, don’t worry, Palin is slowly fading into obscurity although it would be nice if it went a little faster.
