Have long wondered why we rarely hear of common sense evangelical leaders while we are frequently treated to the foibles of the flock fleecers. Sorta been waiting for the young Rev Graham to discuss his own little evangelical rumspringa to see how well that would sit with the holiers than thou and their checkbooks.
While I’ve mostly chuckled when many of them snagged themselves in a web of hypocrisy I no longer take it so lightly. My gloves came off when they began their campaigns to inject their rigid and narrow beliefs into our secular political framework. I hope their blatant attempts to rewrite and reinterpret the Constitution awaken many in the the snoozing electorate. We see daily how well theocracy works in many countries around the world.
