Bryan Fischer Says Liberals Hate America and Christianity
By: Hrafnkell HaraldssonApr. 25th, 2013more from Hrafnkell Haraldsson
Bryan Fischer has a good time publicly masturbating. Seriously. It’s hard to consider what he does to be anything else because nobody can be as stupid as he seems to be. But they can be as bigoted. My biggest question as an observer, however, is this: “how hard does he have to work to think up all the kooky things he says?”
Take his latest spew: that liberals and Muslims hate America and Christians. This is pure ass-hattery. I can’t speak for Muslims but I am a liberal and a Heathen and I hate neither America nor Christians. My family are all Christians. My family (and myself) are all Americans.
What liberals and Muslims likely do hate (and with good reason) are ass-hats like Bryan Fischer, who do nothing but sit on their toilets…er, um…pulpits…and spew hatred and intolerance at everybody who disagrees with him.
Here’s what the AFA’s Director of Issues Analysis had to say the other day on his radio program, courtesy of Right Wing Watch:
“Secular fundamentalists hate this country as founded, They hate it. They’re trying to dismantle it. President Obama hates this country as founded. That’s why he’s trying to transform it and make it into some kind of socialist, Marxist utopia. Because he doesn’t like America, as it was founded. And Muslims don’t either. They hate America. They hate America as founded. They have the same dislike, and distaste, the same enmity toward America is it was founded that secular progressives do. And so that’s the bond that they share”
Oh dear.
What’s hilarious about this “analysis” is that it is Bryan Fischer and his friends who hate America as it was founded, that is, as a secular government of a predominantly Christian populace.
And the 18th century Christian populace are the very folks who agreed to have a secular government. Largely to protect themselves from ass-hats like Bryan Fischer. Talk about prescient.
The people who are trying to dismantle that America are people like Bryan Fischer, who want instead to impose the theocracy the Founding Fathers rejected. The America Bryan Fischer claims to love does not exist, has never existed, and -if we continue to say no to people like Fischer – will never exist.
All Fischer need do is ask himself these questions:
Perhaps Fischer has a “special” copy of the Constitution no one else has seen. More likely, he is simply dishonest because he has to know as well as the rest of us that the only thing the Constitution has to say about religion is that it forbids the very thing Fischer is pushing:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
So much for his plan to have the federal government ban Islam. The simple fact is that unlike Bryan Fischer, the Founding Fathers had no dream of a right wing theocracy. Rather, they lived in fear of it.
As for a Marxist utopia, that is, as far as the historical verdict is concerned as much an oxymoron as a utopian theocracy. We haven’t seen either make an appearance in the historical record. Not in all the thousands of years of recorded history.
And Muslims hating America? There are plenty of Muslims living in America who love America. I hate met some of them. They want the same thing I want: to be free to exercise their beliefs without interference from bigoted asshats like Bryan Fischer.
Fischer needs to put down his David Barton books and pick up an actual history book. I realize that is a great deal to ask of a conservative, but facts are the only cure for what ails Fischer. But he will probably need to be sedated and subject to a Fact Enema, because I don’t think he’ll intentionally absorb a fact. Facts are to conservatism as holy water is to vampires. Facts kill conservative ideas dead.
Sadly, they are not a remedy for ass-hattery.

I am not sure why Bryan Fischer is concerned about liberals hating xtianity. He is most certainly not a xtian himself. He is the leader of a hate group who thinks eventually his group will share power with the gop. But lets face it, they use each other and the one that wins will dump the other.
He has a limited number of sheep. Let him dribble the hate. Soon people will see him as the same as westboro

With the death yesterday of Bob Edgar, a Methodist minister who championed ALL progressive issues, was in Congress and then headed the National Council of Churches before leading Common Cause, this stupid slavering disregard of American values does not deserve airing.
Not complaining about this article but about stupid Fisher.
REAL Christians tend to be thoughtful, liberal, progressive. The teachings of Jesus were radical, and most Christians know it. Conservatives to reactionary ideals are not Christian at all – they are Dominionists. They believe in the Old Testament exclusively, pay NO attention to the ideals of peace, justice, and equality Jesus taught, and want political power wrapped in the flag bearing a cross. They are despicable.

It’s too bad more people do not read “Gods Own Party.” very instructive on the Domionists.
I was talking to a Christan lady just the other day, she did not know who or what these people were.
It”s also too bad more people who do understand this twisted form of Christanity, don’t seem to have enough exposure to reveal the true nature of this of religion.
They truly are a danger to everything America stands for because Domionists bear no guilt for their actions.

Bryan Fischer, I don’t hate America, nor do I hate Christians, people of any other religion or non-believers.
What I do hate is people like you trying to push your religious idologies and values down my throat. The only one who has hate in his heart is you.
As far as I’m concerned you are no different than the Taliban. In case you don’t know it, there is such a thing of separation of church and state in our country. You better get use to that concept, because it’s not going away, no matter how much you would love to turn America into a theocracy.

I live in Idaho and am embarrassed to say that Bryan Fischer was Senate Chaplain for one legislative session a few years back. For years he had a regular column in Idaho’s largest newspaper, and was the paper’s main “go-to guy” on religious matters. I blame the lazy-ass staff at the Idaho Statesman for giving this loathsome nutball a launching pad to national prominence.

I don`t hate xtians , just the ones who has been raised and educated in in a western democracy and are still stupid enough to believe in skyfairies . You can understand religions in other societies and in immigrant or ethnic groups as it has both cultural and spiritual signifigance to them and ties people together with common goals and ethics and builds a sense of community . As this is the role of the state in a progressive society then in the western world xtianity is something that to keep is of no benefit and that to get rid of would be no loss . If xtians wish to practise their perversions of logic , let them do so in the privacy of their own homes where it won`t offend the rest of Us . After all the constitution itself guarantees Us freedom from religion and You right wingnuts do love Your constitution

While we were colonizing America(under corporate controls)the rest of Europe was having history, too. So was the rest of the world, but you’d never know it in Congress….
The Burning Times, the indentured servitude and lack of protection from church and corporate greed were all recent history to the writers of the Constitution. They worked to protect Americans against the 1% they had fled from in Europe.
If you read it as an economic theory, it is based on communism – the economic theory of public property and the need to balance the rights of labor against corporate drive to devour everything it can.
Don’t panic – communism is a theory of economics, not leprosy.
The document divides power, demands a shield between organized business interests and religious interests and the individual citizen. With the shield favoring the rights of the individual over the needs of corporate avarice or government desires.
And I don’t care if Fischer says he’s the virgin Mary…

Fisher the Phisher is one of the current leaders of the “certainty doctrine” which perversely allows him to be right about everything! Never question his “certainty” as wrongful or judgmental as he’s THE expert of the doctrine.
See, his Sky-God comic book is more important than the Superman comic book version of what a super-heroes is supposed to look like, act like, etc. That’s because the little Phisher has his “certainty”
…but I’m pretty sure Superman is a higher on the realm of super heroes because he had a cape. Did Jesus? No! His dad didn’t give him a cape!
Therefore I demand that congress pass laws allowing all-American super hero, Superman to be taught in all public schools and incorporated into the constitution. Superman is an American and he stands for the American commandments–truth, justice and, the American way. Jesus was a middle-easterner! So, why are we even allowing that guy a place at the table? This is America!

It’s going to be a Hell of a shock to the 74% of liberals that believe in Christ that they hate Christianity. Thank God we have Bryan Fischer to set them straight! Bryan has a serious case of verbal diarrhea to contend with. I suggest a large dose of St Joseph’s Kaopectate.

Through Friday, since Mr. Obama’s inauguration — his first 1,368 days in office — the Dow Jones industrial average has gained 67.9 percent. That’s an extremely strong performance — the fifth best for an equivalent period among all American presidents since 1900. The Bespoke Investment Group calculated those returns for The New York Times.

Please lets understand something, Bryan Fisher and the right wing GOP does not, I repeat does not represent the teachings of Christ! These types of people have been here long before Jesus ever took flesh and came amongst us. Bryan Fisher represents a pagan religion that teaches hate, bigotry! so my liberal friends don’t judge these holier rollers as, ”God’s chosen!”, their in it for the MONEY and the POWER! theres a reason why Jesus got so upset with the religious leaders to the point of turning over the churches MONEY tables!!

Calm down…I’m pretty sure most people know/realize that Brian Fisher and his brand or radical fundamentalism does not represent Christianity
…but I, as a non-christian, do not understand why the majority of “actual” christians do not organize and petitions/protest/march against these people in the public eye? Why aren’t the rest of your fellow christians working on this collectively? It’s a problem that is part of your religions “group dynamics”. Surely good people (like yourself) could start an organization containing of all branches of your faith to take on these “posers” head to head? Where is the out-cry, the marches, the ministries standing up and saying enough is enough, we want our religion “back”? IMHO, many millions of non-christian/christian Americans would stand behind such a movement.

@SignhX, since you don’t know anything about me buddy, I go out in the community and respectful rip the GOP a new one! but what planet are you living on?????? you really think the ”people” can set the organized religion train wreck on track??? its been corrupt for over 2000 years, grow up! we can’t even get the democratic party to do what many liberals want them to do, and organized religion is much more powerful than the republican party and democratic party combined. Take back the church!? you’re funny! I’m responsible for one soul! mine! I can talk but people have to want to listen. BTW, @SignhX, there are some christians speaking up on a national level, those catholic nuns for example.

“…but what planet are you living on?????? you really think the ”people” can set the organized religion train wreck on track???…”
I live on a planet that is being over-burdened with silly mythical superstition. Yes, I do think people can be organized in areas such as these to derail this destructive train or verbally make it “crash”. What do you think the separation of church and state is about? Theory of Evolution? Those are examples of people “organizing” their thoughts and defending them thereby “wreaking the train” (even if only for a few centuries). Individualism is fine, nuns on a bus made a dent, and sites like Talk2Action.org make information possible. But the majority of the majority of the “flock” is silent on this atrocity.
Perhaps, they’re all just sheep. Why aren’t they organizing a protest when Brian Fisher comes to town and make sure everyone knows he’s like the KKK except no robe to hide under! I see no grass root efforts, just silence.
