Ignoring Romney’s Record of Election Theft, Media Dismisses Voting Machine Concerns
Today, NBC’s Chuck Todd called concerns about Romney owned voting machines conspiracy garbage, while conveniently ignoring the 2012 primaries that Mitt Romney has already stolen.
Chuck Todd tweeted:
The voting machine conspiracies belong in same category as the Trump birther garbage.
— Chuck Todd (@chucktodd) October 21, 2012
Normally, I might be inclined to agree with Chuck Todd. Every election cycle we hear about some vast conspiracy that is going to take the election away from one side or the other. (This paranoia is the stinking legacy of Florida 2000. As if Bush didn’t do enough to harm the country while in office, his election itself managed to destroy faith in the electoral process for many Americans.) In this case, I disagree with Todd completely.
Why?
Mitt Romney has shown throughout 2012 that he has no qualms about rigging elections, whether they count or not.
Remember the Iowa caucus that the Romney backing Republican leadership was so desperate for him to win that they proclaimed him the winner by eight votes over Rick Santorum, only to quietly correct the record a little more than two weeks later, and admit that Santorum actually won by 34 votes? Between January 4 and January 19 Romney was able to use his Iowa “win” to help him win New Hampshire, and look like the unstoppable nominee. The only problem is that Mitt Romney didn’t really win Iowa.
With his candidacy still floundering in February, Romney trucked in his own supporters to CPAC, so that he could beat Rick Santorum in an utterly meaningless straw poll. According to Santorum, Romney won, “because he just trucks in a lot of people pays for their ticket, they come in and vote and then leave.”
Oh, but Mitt was just getting warmed up. His boldest act of theft came in Maine, where the Romney campaign used one of their own supporters, who just happened to be the party state chairman, to give the state’s primary election to Romney before everyone in the state had voted, “Despite the facts that not all of the state had caucused yet and the margin separating Mitt Romney and Ron Paul was less than 200 votes, state GOP Chairman Charie Webster told Washington County, who had to postpone their caucus today because of an expected snowstorm, and anyone else who didn’t caucus today that their votes will not count.”
And yet, Chuck Todd thinks that Mitt Romney would never, ever mess with the voting machines in Ohio, or engage in any other form of cheating in order to triumph in a state that he most likely can’t win the presidency without.
I think that much of the angst and conspiracy theories surrounding our electoral process are scars left over from 2000, but Mitt Romney has a record of cheating to win. Romney is consumed with a desire to be president. He has been running for the office for six straight years. He has already shown a willingness to cheat, and yet Chuck Todd refuses to believe that Romney would behave this way in a General Election.
Todd wants to paint anyone who is suspicious of Romney as an out of touch tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist, when the reality is that anyone who isn’t suspicious of Romney should have their head examined.
Chuck Todd’s remarks are more evidence that there are two elections going on in 2012. The first election is the one that is being reported by the mainstream and Beltway media that shows Obama and Romney as equal candidates in a neck and neck race to the finish. To buttress their point, they rely on national polls that are utterly meaningless because the popular vote will not decide the outcome of this election.
The second contest for the presidency is being waged on the ground in a handful of swing states. This is the real race that will decide the presidency, and Mitt Romney is losing. Obama has three times more field offices than Romney does, and a huge lead in the ground game. Obama is also dominating early voting.
At other points when Mitt Romney was losing in 2012, he cheated.
Anyone who thinks that Mitt Romney wouldn’t cheat on Election Day hasn’t been paying attention.
This is a man who made his millions firing people for profit. Mitt Romney isn’t even patriotic enough to release his tax returns, and keep his money in the United States.
Mitt Romney has no sense of honor and duty to America, and would not think twice about rigging an election if he thought it would get him the presidency.
If Chuck Todd trusts Mitt Romney, then maybe we ought to think twice about trusting the opinion of Chuck Todd.

Chuck Todd is worse than a Dino and a Rino combined. I say either he is hurting in the ratings, or just wants some media attention. For him to dismiss any concerns in the light of evidence is irresponsible journalism. But on a personal tip–I have never cared for him personally or his reporting because he has always shown a certain disdain towards president Obama in his reporting, back since 2008 and it still shows up now according to what he is reporting about.

I despise Chuck Todd from the bottom of my heart. Because I know he is hyperpartisan, to the point of entertaining lunacy from his own side while showing disdain for a man we know to be highly intelligent and for the people, I firmly believe he doesn’t deserve a place in the media.

I’ve have felt for a long time that Chuck Todd was a Romney supporter, and his latest tweet just confirmed it! He and Mark Halperin are both political hacks for the Republicans! I am definitely worried about Ohio’s voting machine being owned by Tadd Romney and we should not let up on showing our distrust with Chuck Todd either!

Dick Gregory must be included in list. The majority of these so called ‘reporters’ hacks getting interviewed on TV are Republicans. Why not apply to their party as strategist instead of denigrating real reporters who try to give nonpartisan presentations?

A birther conspiracy fabricated out of thin air really equates to concerns about actual investment, business, and personal ties between Romney and the voting machine company. Way to go, Chuck Todd. If there’s no reason for concern, why not explain the measures in place to secure the vote count.
Democrats could force the media to cover this issue I can think of a few reasons why Dems may not want to talk about it and I’m uncomfortable with all of them.

I thought I was alone in having the same thoughts concerning Chuck. I also find it soo hypocritical that much is not being said of the GOP including Paul Ryan for cutting the additional aid requested by the embassies abroad in light of the Benghazy attack. The media keeps airing it but seldom do you hear of the 318B dollars denied for security of the embassy. The other thing is we don’t hear much of the workers in Chicago losing their jobs where Romney still have stocks. The lost of manufacturing jobs Romney mouth says he will protect. Where is the outcry of the 5 thousand men and women who died based on a lie who again Ryan voted for. But yet making politics of 4 Americans being killed. The republicans are the ones that got us all in this mess and it seems as though people have forgotten about that. The continued dishonesty/ LIES about the debt. With the continued war and commitments already set in place from the BUSH era continue to being the catalyst of the budget being soo out of control. The media is not being totally honest on alot.

The handwriting is on the wall that the Republicans are working overtime stealing the election and the mainstream media is helping out big time to make the American public think that the race is close!
However, those who do not have Romneysia and have been listening to Romney closely, he stated at one point that he would wind PA late on election day when the numbers start coming in?? Notice now that the media is reporting PA is back in play for Romney??? Voting machines throughout the battleground states are owned by Tagg Romney.
The handwriting is on the wall, do we need an interpreter???
One factor that they are overlooking, however, is that there is a God, who is over all, sees all, and is in all that is going on. A God of righteous, peace, and justice will have the last word!
It appears that everyone around the world is aware of the sham going on in this election cycle, except Americans!

You know what? As much as I’d LIKE to believe that God actually would do anything about this crap, He didn’t do anything about George W. Bush stealing the election in 2000, nor did he do anything about crooked voting machines in 2004. I have yet to see karma on the Republican side bite ANYONE in the ass. The only one who got screwed in the (*) was this entire COUNTRY and anyone who didn’t vote for Bush. We are STILL screwed from 8 years of incompetence. I HOPE you’re right and God does something about this voting machine cheating, voter suppression, etc., but I doubt it.

The one thing life has taught me is that there is no such thing as “Karma”… in my opinion, that was a lie created by the rulers of the “far east” so that the poor wouldn’t fight against their oppression and exploitation.
The corollary “What goes around comes around” is also not true. It JUST DOESN’T HAPPEN.
The good people get treated like sh*t, and the evil get the good stuff.
If “Karma” were true, the US might not have survived very long, with all of the evil this nation has done. Biological warfare against people because of their race, theft, you name it. Shoot… there wouldn’t be people on death row (those that didn’t get exonerated by the Innocence project) that are innocent, and there wouldn’t be “Good Christians” still out there raping little kids who attend their church.
Jo Hargis
Oct. 22nd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Yeah, I have to agree: Karma is only true when it actually happens, meaning you can always tag something as being karmic if it just happens to work out that way.
I feel the same about someone saying God will intervene. Listen, religion is all good and well for those that like it. I’m definitely not knocking religion. I just don’t happen to think much of organized religion, as it’s been the scourge of humanity throughout history. Anyways, anyone who thinks God is going to intervene is being naive perhaps, and definitely looking for a way to blame “something else” for stuff that happens. Why can’t people just understand, s h i t happens, and God has nothing to do with it. God isn’t going to magically come down and save our election, for crying out loud. He didn’t stop the holocaust, he didn’t stop a million other atrocities that have happened throughout history. Why would anyone be so presumptuous to think he’s going to intervene now? It’s up to US to stop this crap and stop passing off responsibility to a deity. Not meaning to offend any religious people, this is just my opinion. I see people all the time pray for the silliest stuff…a good grade on a test, blah blah. C’mon, take responsibility for yourself. I know a guy who lost his son two days ago, and *he* asked for prayers. That’s what they’re for, not frivolous stuff.

I understood that journalists were supposed to report the truth with impartiality, not make it up as they go along to win brownie points with the person the article is about. Seems to me this jackass (Chuck Todd) has his hand out for Mittens to grease it and is not interested in showing any kind of truth other than the sanitised garbage put out by the Republican party. If a man has already cheated once on a very public campaign then he is surely going to do it again and him owning the ballot machines I believe would come under the heading of a conflict of interest and he should be removed from the ballot or his machines removed.

This just confirms what I’ve always believed about Chuck Todd. He’s a corporate shill and has never supported our President, nothing could be clearer.
I think at one time, he might have had some integrity, but since President Obama was elected, he’s been more of a foe than a friend.
There was a link to a petition to AG Holder a few days ago, asking him to investigate the matter of Tagg Romney & his voting machines. Does anyone have the link handy? I signed, as should everyone interested in having fair elections.

Chuck you, Todd. Take your place in the dustbin of what was once the Grand Old Party.
We watched for months while Romney, state by state, couldn’t break 40% in the Republican primary.
Romney had to rush the Ryan veep decision because the Paulites were threatening chaos at the Republican National Convention.
Today, the media (corporate 1% controlled) is pushing a “Romney’s ahead/it’s a tie nationally” meme.
BULLSHIT! I know too many steadfast Republicans that wouldn’t vote for Swiss Mitt and his Bush warmongers for all our national debt (they understand the true cost of war). The war on women by Mitt and the Taliban-Republican bully boys will be the last they wage for decades.
A Walkaway

There are no Republicans like that around here, and if Romney takes this state, the chances of having a future become a lot slimmer. I’m actually quite scared – if the Republicans win, I will be surprised if I’m alive a year or two down the road. (In this area, I expect “Convert or DIE!”)
We can only hope that there are a lot more of the Republicans as you describe in other areas.
It may be too late, but I suggest that everyone write letters to the editor, pointing out the election fraud being committed by the Republicans as we are sitting her discussing it, and the probability of fraud by Romney and his family.
If anyone writes, I’d also suggest pointing out the rabid hypocrisy of their “voter fraud” bullsh*t.
Those letters do get around as I’ve learned, although as I’ve also learned, they can trigger “Good Christian” reprisals and violence.

I know those you speak of, A Walkaway: those 23% that are too blindly devoted to see the truth; too rabidly angry to hear the truth. But there is also the 25% that were disgusted with billionaire man from the get go (corporations are people, my friend). It matters that they work their blue-collar fingers to the bone for 50k-a-yr and pay a greater percentage of their income in taxes than Romney pays (13% for billionaires). It matters that they have daughters and wives that need breast cancer screenings and treatments (Mitt kills Planned Parenthood). And it MATTERS that the Ryan plan kills Social Security and Medicare (they have elderly dads and moms that Romney called “the 47% that won’t take personal responsibility for themselves”).
The Koch brothers et al are doing their heinous best to steal this election. Their billionaire pals that own the MSM are feverously stoking the “it’s a dead heat” fires (advertisement $$$$$$$$$s). They failed the day they nominated a fraudulent, smarmy, two-faced billionaire that hides his money in the Cayman Islands. They bet against America and they’re going to lose.

Who is the winner in the election? The media with all the money they are making off what they “report” and if they can keep it going then they will make more and more from each side. I have lost all respect for those that report “the facts” and would not be surprised if Romney is elected who the Press Secretary might be. As for polls – I received a call that started “As a senior citizen- Do you have a job? Did you have a job 4 yrs ago? Do you think you are better off now? Where do you vote?” What a joke none of the questions were about who I would vote for and made no sense to be asking a retired person. There is so much fraud being done by those that scream the loudest about what the other side MIGHT be doing it is almost funny to hear – but a smoke screen is easy to see thorough if you know facts. I have early voted and will wait to see what happens in the Real World.

In 2008 Obama had 58.0% in the unadjusted, weighted state exit poll aggregate (83,000 respondents) which exactly matched the post-election True Vote Model. Obama’s 23 million True Vote margin was too big to steal.
The National Exit Poll displayed on mainstream media websites (Fox, CNN, ABC, CBS, NYT, etc.) indicates that Obama had 52.9% – his recorded vote. Unadjusted state and national exit polls are always forced to match the recorded share.
But the media never discussed the fact that Obama had 61% in the unadjusted National Exit Poll (17,836 respondents).
In the six presidential elections from 1988-2008, the Democrats won the average recorded vote by 48-46%. But they led both state and national exit polls by 52-42%.
There were approximately 375,000 respondents in the 274 state polls and 90,000 respondents in the six national polls. Overall, an extremely low margin of error.
In the 1988-2008 presidential elections, 226 of 274 exit polls red-shifted to the Republicans. Only about 137 would normally be expected to red-shift. The probability is zero.
126 of the 274 exit polls exceeded the margin of error. Only 14 (5%) would normally be expected. The probability is ZERO.
123 of the 126 exit polls that exceeded the margin of error red-shifted to the Republicans. The probability is ZERO

Others and I have been tweeting this for weeks! The books are out that document the 2004 debacle in Ohio, published in January 2011. This is a repeat of the same.
Does anybody know if this has come to the attention of Eric Holder? Is this the kind of issue that would endanger President Obama? I’m a sixties person, and I so well remember three assassinations, in rapid succession.
I just tweeted @msnbc and @cnn that every reporter who refuses to mention the voting machines owned by the Romneys needs to be fired!
Does anybody have a successful strategy in mind? Can this be taken to tonight’s debate? How about the fired employees of Bain in Freeport who are demonstrating outside the debate? Would they hold signs about the voting machines? Who is in Boca Raton, Fla.? Is that where the debate is being held?
How about Toure? Has anybody tweeted him?
I signed the petition to Eric Holder and hope everyone else will do the same. Thanks to you who have posted the links, also at change.org

We need some other country to oversee our elections, as this country has done for other countries whose elections were in danger of election fraud and theft, Romney will buy this election and be given thie presidency just as the republicans did with bush. This is so obvious that it is hard to see why more attention is not being paid to this. It is so obvious that romney intends to steal the election if it takes it. Isn’t there someone, somewhere who has the power to stop this theft?

This election needs to be postponed until these machines are removed from the equation. I am from OHIO and I can tell you that our putrid governor Kasich will be more than happy to support this effort to steal the election from Obama. He is as morally bankrupt as Romney, and has no loyalty to the American public or his own constituents. Unfortunately, we cannot expect any help from the supreme court either. They are equally as corrupt. Does ANYONE know what we can do about this???

I just read a comment from Amy Searcy, director of the Hamilton County’s Board of Election, stating that there is no possibility of voter fraud. Now knowing her stance, we should brace ourselves for another GOP-stolen presidency. I am a computer programmer and it is absolutely possible to skew voting results without leaving an audit trail, which is why the voting process should NEVER be automated!!! This is a violation of our most basic right, to let our voice be heard through the casting of our ballots. I wonder what monetary and other benefits she has been promised to look the other way.

Chuck Todd is all about his ego. Useless for objective new reporting! He is worse than the people he reports about!
