While Claiming Only Fox News Gives Him Fair Coverage, Sean Hannity Tells 10 Lies About Obama
While proclaiming that Fox News is the only network on the planet that delivers fair and balanced coverage of Obama, Sean Hannity managed to squeeze in 10 lies about the president.

Hannity said, “Last week we watched President Obama deliver his second inaugural address, which will probably be remembered as the most liberal speech of of his entire left wing political career, and as you know it came at a time when his administration happens to be engaged in an all out assault on the Second Amendment, and the rights of law abiding Americans. However, it seems that trampling on your right to keep and bear arms is simply not enough for this president. No, now he is setting his sights even higher. So what’s his next target? The First Amendment, of course. According to the anointed one, the reason why he has failed on the economy, failed to create jobs, failed to rein in radical extremism abroad is because some of us have dared to speak out against his agenda.”
After quoting Obama’s New Republic interview, Hannity continued, “In other words, forget about that little thing called freedom of speech, differing views. Instead, he wants any, all voices to be silenced. That includes the opinions that you hear on this program and watch every single night. But what the president fails to understand is that he is the reason why in large part, Washington is divided. It’s his rhetoric that has been largely responsible for polarizing the country, and for the past four years, the Fox News Channel has frankly been the only media organization on this planet to deliver fair and balanced coverage of his administration. That’s why he doesn’t like it.”
While proclaiming that Fox News is the only network on the planet that delivers fair and balanced coverage of Obama, Sean Hannity managed to squeeze in at least 10 lies about the president.
We could spend all day debunking Sean Hannity’s gibberish, but here is a list of the lies:
1). Obama’s inaugural address was the most liberal speech of his left wing career.
2). Obama’s engaging in an all out assault on the Second Amendment.
3). Obama is targeting the First Amendment.
4). Barack Obama was anointed not elected.
5). Obama has failed on the economy.
6). Obama has failed to create jobs.
7). Obama has failed to rein in radical extremism.
8). Obama is the reason why Washington is divided.
9). Obama wants to silence all voices of opposition.
10). Obama’s rhetoric has polarized the country.
If by fair coverage, Hannity meant completely untrue propaganda then he was correct. Notice how Sean Hannity completely ignored the fact that Obama was talking about the influence that Fox News holds over the Republican Party. The president wasn’t talking about talking away any First Amendment rights. He was aiming at the type of toxic fantasy that Sean Hannity spews on a nightly basis.
Hannity’s bizarre Obama bashing is the reason why he is losing viewers to Rachel Maddow on a regular basis. Outside of the right wing fringe, this kind of programming appeals to no one, but Hannity’s job at Fox News is to keep the true believers believing. He has to keep them convinced that Fox News is the one source of truth on this planet, or else the cult might wise up and stop tuning in.
The fact that Sean Hannity claimed that Fox News is the only network that gives Obama fair coverage while completely lying about the president highlights the absurd rabbit hole that FNC has fallen into.
If you want to know why congressional Republicans sound like they are on another planet, all you need to know is that they get all of the information from watching Fox News.

Obama IS the most divisive president in history. Why? Because his election brought out the seething racism that is rampant in this country that was just below the surface.

“Fair and Balanced” to Sean means having on a Republican who thinks Obama is a socialist and having on an Afican-American or a Democrat who thinks Obama is a socialist.

I have a couple of sisters who think Obama is Satan. Of course, they also despise Al Gore, and are sure that there ius no ‘climate change.’ None. No melting ice, no rising oceans, no weird weather patterns. I’m sure that fracking does not cause earthquakes, and tar sands will create American jobs and bing down fuel costs as well. Because, you know, Sean would never LIE. I bet we can’t find 10 times int he past four years that Hannity has ever uttered one truth about Democrats, the President, or liberals. Not one, let alone 10. He makes his living as a huskster, dividing the nation, and proud of that million dollar salary and his Fox benefits that include contraception for his female co-workers and his family. We need a new word: hypocrite doesn’t begin to describe these anti-American racist fools, including my sisters, unfortunately.

Wow – I’m sorry your sisters are so willing to be duped. They sound like the ditz in the commercial who says nothing can be on the Internet if it’s not true.
I think we all want, at some point, to believe the best about the future. It’s scary to contemplate having to deal with chaos and catastrophe. Most of us starting with the first Baby Boomers on down, had never known systemic disaster until 9/11. After that, as life got back on track, there were almost no consequences to any of us outside the families of the victims and those who went to war. So we’re isolated from harm most of the time. Our reaction to the sense of an onrushing train however, cannot be to put our fingers in our ears and sing: ‘LALALALALALA – can’t HEAR you!”
Fear is the greatest motivator for ignorance AND for hate. If there were some way to have your sisters begin to feel they could help with the solutions, MAYBE they’d stop being so self deluded. But those most embedded in denial really have nowhere to go. I’m sorry it’s left people you care about high and dry in their delusions.

Well Hamm-ity, this guy is nothing more than a Religious Fascist. Personally, I can’t stand Pox Snooze and especially O’Fairy, Hamm-ity, and crybaby Wallace. Jon Stewart tore Wallaceand O’Fairy up. And Hamm-ity wouldn’t have him on because Stewart wouldn’t be filmed and edited.

No sensible adult would say that sensible gun reform is trampling on the Second Amendment.
But Hannity is not a sensible adult. He is a spoiled child. Repiglickin’s are too weak and immature not to stick their fingers in their ears while screaming nonsense, if things don’t go their way.
Repiglickin’s as a group need a time out. Demographics are poised to kick them into the dustbin of history. Keep up the good work Sean. No one will miss you, not even your mother.

Stupid people who listen to stupid people become stupid people. Simple as that. There is no hope to ever educate or try to reason with the masses on the right. They choose to believe the ugly because that’s what THEY FEEL AND BELIEVE. They NEED to hear hannity talk HATE because it is their lifeblood. Every single day these people on the right continue to lie and HATE. HELLO! Why do you think YOU LOST? Its all just mental wash down. The right washes down their constituency with such lies they’re constituency do not even see it. WHAT EVERY RIGHT WINGER NEEDS TO DO: You need to watch and listen to yourselves as you talk in front of a mirror …then watch how your skin will crawl at the thought of what you just said. That’s how we feel about you when you speak. One has to wonder..does not one GOP have a daughter(s) or wife a sister, girlfriend? Mr. Hannity, just wanted to say thank you for you program. I try to watch you everynight. I know you & Fox News are under attack from obama, but don’t you quit reporting the news because without you & FN we would not be getting the truth as to what is going on. You & FN have millions of followers. We support you and FN and will continue. Keep up the good reporting. Also on a funny note, “who are you throwing the football to?”

I am glad Fox News exists, because it did the nation a huge favor with its’ anti-Obama propaganda over the last four years. The network’s propaganda project was so successful that it had convinced millions of republicans, including Romney, Ryan, and Rove that Romney/Ryan was a shoo in to win in November 2012. They were 100% sure that a majority of Americans hated the president the same way that Fox News and RW media outlets had groomed them to believe. The reality turned out to be totally different than what they believed it to be. I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the huge disappointment they were forced to display on my TV, on Twitter, and on Facebook after @ 11:15 PM on November 4. Tools who are willing to allow themselves to be duped deserve to be duped. Only on the right can grossly uneducated individuals like Beck, Hannity, and Limbaugh be experts on everything from politics to women’s reproductive health. Those who believe the BS that Fox News spreads around so remind me of that line from ‘Forrest Gump,’ “Stupid is as stupid does.” I will be forever grateful to my dearly departed parents who taught each of their kids to think for yourself.

What can one say about Hannity and Fake News…that has not been said before….racist, a…holes, creeps, crooks..Fake news a family of thugs..I said thugs…they try to force people to believe in their lies and deceit…only those that don’t have a mind of their owns..and is willing to keep listening to the bullshit they keep producing.. Their rating are down …why…people are tired of being thought of as stupid and not having of their own…So much for Fake News…it didn’t work…..Maybe soon they would hire real reporters…or drop them off tv, online…and let them ride into the sunset..never to be seen again……

The only one of the 10′Lies” you listed thats not the absolute truth is #4. Indeed, Obama was elected, but only after being anointed by the Mainstream Media. Every other point listed is fact which is beyond dispute.

Not even FOX paid more attention to Romney than it did to Obama. I’ll grant you that FOX gave Romney more positive coverage than other networks. Thats because FOX had a mission to actually report the news, instead of creating it. Had the folks at CNN and MSNBC even made an attempt to objectively look into the past of Barack Obama, he would not have garnered 100 campaign delegates against Hillary Clinton in 2008, and would have actually lost to McCain if he were somehow the nominee.

Fox has never reported news, except for the precious little time they at least used to spend on it.
The Sunday shows always have had more republicans on especially throughout the campaign seasons

I saw the article list of alleged lies, but I didn’t see the article provide facts that prove Hannity lied.
Some of those “lies’ are rather easy to see like that “anointed” comment. That’s downright silly (and a stupid lie)

News Corporation is a front for the Muslim brotherhood and Al-Quede. I think the people that work there might be scared into what they are doing? This company is into far more than just media.
