Dead Men Can’t Vote But They Can Recall Democrats In Wisconsin
Remember all the snarky little comments from Republicans about Chicago politics, things like “dead men can vote in Chicago”. Well I guess dead men can recall Democrats in Wisconsin.
Bill Pocan, is the father of Democratic State Representative Mark Pocan from Wisconsin. Mark’s father passed away long ago, but that didn’t prevent him from signing a recall petition for Representative Pocan’s colleague, State Senator Bob Wirch of Kenosha. On page 362 of the Wirch recall petition, you will find the address and signature of Bill Pocan. The date this was signed was March 3rd.
Bill Pocan’s wife, Corinne Pocan said in an affidavit that there was no way that her husband could have signed the petition, he passed away 20 years ago.
The affidavit states as reported to the Journal Sentinel,
“I receive a phone call that my husband Bill, of the same address had signed a recall petition against Senator Wirch on 3/3. Unfortunately, my husband bill passed away 20 years ago. My son Bill lives in Milwaukee and furthermore that is not his hand writing on this petition.”
The signature was acknowledged to be a possible forgery, said Dan Hunt, head of the Wirch recall campaign, but he accused Democrats of the mishap, saying they are trying to discredit the recall effort. Hunt said that by picking such a prominent name such as Mr. Pocan it will spotlight the matter.
Hunt was caught red-handed and the first instinct of most people caught in that situation, they start pointing fingers, said Kory Kozloski, executive director of the State Senate Democratic Committee. “If he is looking to cast blame, he need look no further than his own organization.”, said Kozloski.
Wirch was one of the 14 Democrats that left the State to halt the passage of the union busting bill, wrongly named the “budget repair” bill.
Something shady is happening in Wisconsin, from a mysterious 7,000 votes to dead men signing petitions. The Wisconsin Republicans will stop at nothing to advance their agenda, rather than helping the people.

With all their money, the Koch-heads think they can reanimate a long-dead man to sign a recall petition.
Just like they bought Gov D-head Walker’s office in the State House, and Prosser’s extended position on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Why is it so hard to believe in Wisconsin? Wisconsin, especially counties like Washington and Waukesha have become the most facist areas in the country. The state motto should be changed from Forward to Backward. With all that scott walker has done with his union busting, I have not heard from either side (republican or Democrat) about what should have been the most important aspect of it all: the future of Wisconsin and America through OUR children, the future leaders of Wisconsin and America.
No society lasts forever and if We ALL don’t get it together and stop all the B.S. this country will be a has been, if its not to late already.
Signed, an AMERICAN not a republican or a Democrat.

Don’t forget the crap they pulled in Ohio in 2004. So they are the ones engaged in electoral fraud. Remember, that’s another one of their boogymen.

Actually prop 8 passed because it was meant to be confusing to the voter i.e. affirming a negative/ negating a positive. A no vote means a yes is intentionally counter-intuitive and some friends of mine showed up and voted the wrong way, realizing it only after the fact.

That is true, as is often the case in California with confusing verbiage – but the Mormon church had their hand in it as well.

There is only one problem. The regular media is not covering this. Any time there is the slightest infraction on the democratic side, Fox news megaphones it out to the entire planet (OK, I am exagerating, but that is what they do).
I believe that the media is actually becoming tired of Wisconsin. Ed Schultz is still on it here and there, but ion general it is forgotten. You see, besides coming to this website I do watch MSNBC, CNN, Fox, The discover channel, the history channel and sometimes to cooking channel. They used to teach about cooking, but now they just hype celebs.
May be I am getting too old, but things are not getting better, they are getting worse.

There’s also this little gem, doesn’t add up to much, but highlights the lack of attention to detail exhibited by some in Government in Wisconsin or maybe they really do think they dont have to follow any rules….

The republican party, the party of lying, treasonous war profiteers. How anyone with the slightest speck of decency can claim to be a republican is impossible to comprehend.Every single day they just keep proving over and over they are nothing but vile, soulless creatures who care nothing for America and the common good of it’s people, and to top it off they have the audacity to label themselves as “christian”.It is a good thing for them that there is no god,or they would be in for good smiting.

I’m not surprised one bit. I expected this from them. Everything the right wing does is against the law..but no one calls them on it ..not the media not the white house. no one. You and I and they know they have done their ultimate best to suppress votes so no one can vote who they actually want in office..but who the RW wants YOU to want in office. The repubs lie cheat steal and even murder (doctors who have performed abortions) to get their way. It has gotten worse since Bush left office. But they started in Bush house. We have allowed this cancer of a party to destroy huymans faster than disease itself. People are still voting repub knowing they are doing all this barbaric stuff. But they keep voting. They too will end up in the gutter ..where the RW wants all of us it seems. Its just not enought to give the corporations all the money..they seem to want to see us all have to grovel and beg for a job..food..services. THIS IS WHAT YOU RW PEOPLE WANT?

This just shows AGAIN how the right is constantly projecting it’s evils onto others. This is typical behavior, they’re always being caught doing EXACTLY what they accuse others of or claim to be staunchly against. So what else do they accuse others of?
Stealing elections? Voter fraud? Destroying America? Wanting babies to die?

The Party of No is the biggest perpetrator of voter fraud. Just as with racism, religious bigotry, and the mean-spirited selfishness against those less fortunate, they are good at projecting their negativity on others.

@Wisconsin GOP Voter Fraud Exposed: please don’t call it voter fraud, the proper term for it (especially when coming from the top down, i.e.- institutionalized) is ELECTION FRAUD… and that includes hacking of voting machines, intentional breaking of custody chain of ballots, astroturf mobs interrupting recounts, intentionally confusing ballots, and convoluted voter ID laws, phone jamming of Get Out The Vote Lines, racial intimidation at the polls…
Voter Fraud is rare, and nearly impossible to prove… Election Fraud is EASY to prove, yet never seems to get prosecuted… especially when committed by Republicans and TeaBaggers.
