As for me, I still cannot wrap my head around the massive disconnect between Christianity’s supposed teachings and the reality of the mean-spirited, selfish, self-serving, exclusionary, megalomaniacal fascist-minded ‘evangelicals’ we are forced to look at every danged day. Blech… talk about nauseating. Reminds me of a whole lot of Muslims screaming about how certain factions have hijacked their religion…hmmmm…then I have to ask the obvious – if the mainstream Muslims have enough sense to disavow the lunatics who have bastardized their religion, why haven’t mainstream Christians yelled just as loudly? Why aren’t they stepping up to the microphone or megaphone or radio show or interview to DISAVOW the insanity???

(Laugh) That’s about it.

I think of them as the most irresponsible people… because they think God’s forgiveness is a “Get out of jail free” card and “God’s will” gives them a blank check to act like world-class a-holes.

I keep hoping that the religious in the world will grow up and stop blaming their imaginary friends (Insert religious figure here) for all the terrible things that they do in His name and start taking responsibility for their own pervertedly insane lives.

Wow, what a great observation!

So, by removing some defined “obstacle” on your way to the top of the heaven heap ya’ cut a few corners, lob off some of the dead weight, increase your profit margin, sales, spin the message in order to win, right?…it’s all legal, right?

See, ya just do like David Barton: you revise and reinterpret the “documents” and re-write the history by removing all those obstacles, or facts.
Nothin’ illegal or unconstitutional about that…
right?

And, Christ won’t mind if you take the “Christ-part” out, especially if you just say “Sorry Jesus” or “I have sinned” afterwards, because, after all, you’re forgiven and can right back to work!

Because, to the “other” christian groups, the Mormons aren’t using the right bottle opener…you have to use the right “church key” to open the “nectar of god”…all other “church keys” are worthless and useless unless you have the right one! That is what these folks are all about! Not brotherhood of humanity! How naive can you be?
If you don’t have the “right” form, you’re wrong.

And, Mormons aren’t about to give up THEIR “church key”, as in, hand over their secret heaven hand shakes, winky-winks, special passwords, underwear, gowns, green aprons, bathing tanks, etc. to those “other” Christians! Oh hell no! So, why would the plain old Bible Thumpin’, holy rollin’, mega-churchin’ evangelicals give any credibility or share their “church key” with any Mormon?!

That’s like asking Coors to give their secret ingredient to Anheuser-Busch in order to make nice!
Please! This has nothing to do anything personal or with Jesus; this is just business…and that’s why Mit thinks he’s “the one” to run the “business”
